The Memory Center Atlanta was very new and modern. It was very bright and cheerful in the main areas and there were different neighborhoods that branched off from there. Within those neighborhoods are the different rooms, dining rooms, and living rooms. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The food was fine. The dining room was simple and there were no tablecloths. The rooms were different sizes based on the number of people in the room. They're supposed to have one aide for every four people during the day and five people at night. They have brain teasers, movies, ice cream socials, and wine and beer every day.

We liked Sunrise of Johns Creek a lot. They were assisted care only, but they would allow others if one spouse needed assisted living and one didn't. My mom was very happy because it was close to the hospital and to their doctors. It was convenient. There were many different room choices and there were different care levels. The main entrance was open to many, and it was very welcoming. There were a lot of people around when we went. There was a group coming back from an activity when we were leaving.
