I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We're very happy with Atria Valley View. We were impressed with it when we toured it. My sister-in-law has a studio alcove. It's adequate and has plenty of room for a bed, there's a little sitting area for a loveseat and a couple of chairs, a nice little kitchenette, and it has sliding doors that go out to a courtyard. She's very happy with the staff. She hasn't complained. They have an exercise room, a little salon, a library, a game room, a bistro, a big gathering place, a courtyard, a theater, and a nice dining area. The facility was clean and well maintained. They were having a piano concert when we were there. They've been very careful during this pandemic. They have lots of security, they changed all the locks to make sure that nobody can come and go without them knowing it, and everybody wears masks. She likes the food. All three meals and snacks are delivered to her room every day. The staff is doing all kinds of little activities to keep people engaged in the hallway, so people can participate in their doorway. I have no complaints. Her bathroom is a little bit on the small side, but other than that, the room is fine. They have wheelchair accessible bathrooms as well.

I visited this facility

I toured Atria Valley View. The studio apartment that we were shown was very small, other than that, it seemed to be OK, and the studio rooms were acceptable. The amenities are average, they have a library, a dining room, a café, outside areas, and an auditorium where they show the movies and other entertainment. They also mentioned field trips, interest clubs, and I think bingo is a big thing

I visited this facility

The Heritage Downtown was excellent. It looked very friendly and warm. The person who assisted me was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent, tasty, well prepared, and healthy. I observed the physical training activities, people in the pool, people eating, people in the library, and in the computer area. I visited about five different apartments.

I visited this facility

We visited here. The people were nice. It was OK. It was relatively convenient, not right nearby us, but not too far. The staff seemed nice. The facility looked clean. The woman who showed us around was very informative and showed me the room that was available. My husband is tall so he needs a long bed, and it looked OK. They take care of housekeeping and food, but you have to bring your own furnishings. There were some people doing some crafts when we visited and there was a TV.
