I visited this facility
Sunrise of Hillcrest was very unique. It looked like a home rather than a facility. The people were very friendly, from the workers to the person who gave me my tour. I really liked the layout and the benefits that were offered there. I was very impressed with it. I saw a studio, and a regular bedroom, and I also saw the model setup. The bathrooms and the layout of the rooms were just fine. They have a lot of window access so you can look out and get sunshine. It was really nice. They have many courtyards, and they offer tai-chi. There are rooms where you can go and play games, watch TV, or meet and greet other residents. The staff member was very informative.

I visited this facility
Sunrise of Hillcrest was very good and very favorable. They had everything well thought out. They gave me a tour of the eating facilities, their activities, and the rooms in both assisted living and memory care. They were all very impressive. The staff member who accommodated me was great. I saw some of the residents eating as well as the menu, and it looked very good.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My friend was in Sunrise for six months, and it was awful. It was pretty clean, and the food was good, but it took forever to get it. The staff was very unprofessional and took over an hour to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was not worth the money, and everything was extra. If you wanted your bed made, that was extra, and they didn't even do that.
