The tour at Mustang Creek Estates Keller was very good. I think it's a good facility with a different concept, pricing is inclusive, and they don't charge extra for care. They have 5 separate buildings joined by 5 walks and outdoor areas. It's a very nice facility, and the residents there seemed happy. They had a lot of activities, they're spread between different buildings, and whichever building you're in you can attend the activities of the other buildings, but there's no covered transit from one building to another. You would have to go outside. The people were very confident, they're really impressive, and I really liked them. The rooms were small, and the location was not perfect.

Mustang Creek Estates Keller had several houses and 10 to 15 residents in each house with one staff person. It was more of a kitchen and a living room in the front and all the other rooms at the back. I didn't think it was a good environment for my father plus I was not impressed with the staff at all. It wasn't the person that I have the appointment with that met with me and she didn't have a lot of the information that I needed and I was a little concerned about the tenure of the staff. The longest tenure that anybody there had that I met was five months. The rooms were nice. They seem to do really nice meals, and I like that they have snacks and some fresh fruits sitting out for the residents.

I liked the concept of the individual houses and the patient to attendant ratio at Mustang Creek Estates, which is why we chose it for my mom. She was only there a short time, but we loved the facility and we loved Becky, the administrator. She was awesome and cared so much about Mother in just a short time. Some of the girls who worked there went out of their way to make sure that we were getting all the help that we needed. The food was good. We were extremely pleased. I absolutely adored them. Even the residents were so caring and always asking about Mother and how she was doing. The staff was excellent and they even do a great job in keeping the residents active. It was just an extremely good environment for her to be in. It always smelled clean there and it looked clean. Everyone was well taken care of. I'm so glad we had moved my mom there. It was just a pleasant surprise to see how much attention they gave to my mom and to the family, so I was just really thrilled. Becky even came to my mom's funeral and the whole family was just impressed with her and the care they gave Mother.

Mustang Creek Estates was very nicely laid out. It was very spacious and it's easy to maneuver around with wheelchairs. The staff seemed friendly. The rooms were nice.

My nephew moved into Mustang Creek Estates - Keller. It's very nice and clean. His room is spacious. It has a fairly large closet and a private bath, which is large with a step-in shower with bars around it in case he falls. He goes to the store and he goes out to eat with them and joins in some of the activities. He said the food is really good. However, they have changed directors three times within one year, and that's the problem I'm having with them right now.

When touring this community I was taken away by the beautiful landscaping and the overall modern and luxurious look of the community. The staff are ready to provide excellent customer service to everyone. The residents are happy smiling and extremely active. They have a full calendar of events, which involves onsite activities and outings. The activities are very active and fitness inspired such as yoga, Tai Chi, and swimming classes. This community is definitely for the independent active seniors, however home health agencies are resources used to assist residents if needed. The menu has a variety of options and accommodations for the residents. The apartments are spacious and upgraded. Overall this community is a good active senior community.

Some people probably would really like Legacy at Bear Creek. It was more like a hotel and very upscale, but their rooms were smaller. It looked better; however, it smelled like they were using air fresheners to cover up smells.

I had my husband at Mustang Creek in memory care for two months. It was very disappointing. There were about 15 people per house and the girl in charge of the house he was in quit and moved into one of the other assisted living houses. Also, the washer broke down and there was a mountain of laundry mixed up together. I tried to contact the person in charge of all the Mustang Creek houses and she was not available. They did fight with him even though this was his first time away from home. I just don't think the training was there. Everybody may be back in place or running as smooth as silk, but I didn't want to waste any more time with it. I got most of my money back from them. We had to go to the secretary to complain because there was nobody in authority that was there to do anything. The location was good. A lady came in and played Bingo and that was about it. They didn't have any outside people coming in to entertain or anything.

I really liked Mustang Creek Estates - Keller a lot. However, they have a smaller group of people living there. It's nice to have a small, intimate group, but you have to make sure that you are lucky and you get the good people, because if you're in that house and there is one person that just drives you absolutely batty, you're going to be stuck with that. There were private individual rooms and there is a good, large space there. They have lots of activities and the people were funky and happy. It's like a small family. I had some meals there and they were really good. The staff was great, as were the residents.
