Overlake Terrace didn't meet our needs. With the difficulties with my wife's health, they were not sufficient for what we needed. It was good overall. There were activities that were of interest to us. There were caring people there that helped look after us. The food and nutrition was outstanding. Mary's health needs were more critical than they could supply. I could've stayed, but it was not something I wanted to do without her there. They tried their best and they did well with what they could provide. They had mental activities, they had word game, bingo, Pictionary, entertainment where they had people come in and play instruments and do sing-alongs, and they had theater events. They had difficulty with people who are more dependent and needing of specialized care, but for the general population they were very attentive, quick to respond and tried their best. The food was really outstanding. They had to puree her meal and they made a concerted effort to be sure that they provided a meal like that. They were in the midst of rehabilitating the place.
Overlake Terrace was very good and nice. It's a beautiful place. The staff was very nice. The dining room was set up really well and it was very pretty and really nice. They had activities, like games and bingo. They take people in a bus, which is really nice.
My father moved into Overlake Terrace. Its a very nice place, has a nice feel to it, and there are lots of activities going on. The staff seems caring toward the people, and overall we're pleased with it. They've had plays, music, and my dad liked the Memorial Day tribute that they had. He seems to like the food, it's served in an open and spacious dining area, there seems to be good choices, and we like the flexibility of when you can go have a meal.

Overlake Terrace's rooms were very nice. The place was very fancy and elegant. They were playing Bingo when I was there, there was a person that was singing, and people were gathered around listening to him sing. They have a library, a theater, an exercise room, a very fancy, nice, and elegant dining room and lobby. They have everything. The staff members were very nice and helpful. I was very impressed.
Overlake Terrace was all great. My dad has dementia, so we looked at the memory care. It was very clean and organized. The people were friendly, very nice, and answered all my questions.
I was surprised to read some of the negative comments that have been posted recently. I suppose that whatever business you come in contact with some persons will react either positively or negatively. In my particular case I am responsible for an 88yr old female. She had been at Overlake Terrace a little over 6yrs. She has lived in the assisted living section for about 4 yrs and in memory care for the last 2yrs. During this time there have been issues that I have brought up and the staff has always been receptive to my comments and have made changes or adjustments. I stay in contact with all her care takers and can't say enough positive comments about these workers. There job is difficult to say the least and I appreciate the care that they have given. Memory care is probably one of the most difficult areas to work in. The residents for the most part need assistance with most everything they do from dressing, eating meals, activities, toileting etc. The staff keeps me informed when I visit or if its urgent such as a fall they give me a call and the individuals status. I have nothing but positive comments for the Manager of Memory Care, Lana, and staff, Shabanghi, Violet, Nafisa, Michael, Chi Chi, and a host of others who I come in contact with.
Our family was promised coordinated assisted living for our father who was rapidly declining from cancer. Within a few weeks of moving there, our dad was routinely found on the floor unkept and scared. Our family visited daily, and each time, it was the same. Dad hadn't been helped with daily living - bathing, toileting, getting down for meals, and he and his apartment were filthy, as a result. Within the first month, the facility forced us to hire a private caregiver or they would kick him out. A large sum of money was paid up front and within weeks they had washed their hands of their duties and promises to us - an eye-opening uncaring sham. I empathize with the thoughtful minority who have spoken up regarding their experiences. I wonder if those who made positive reviews were paid or perhaps their relative was not using the assisted living services. Our father's medical team advised us to move him ASAP. They had heard similar complaints and we were happy to have their input for his new residence. Please be cautious about believing what you are told by the sales team and staff as you are making a decision about care for your loved one. We gave it a go for several months and did not get responsible and caring support for our father.
We at Overlake Terrace take great pride in the high level of skilled care we provide our residents at all levels of acuity, either physical or mental, as proven by the many unsolicited positive reviews we have received on this site and others. You have obviously been through a very difficult time; we understand that your father’s condition was very challenging and heart breaking, which can cloud perception and decision making. For example, in your previous negative review, you mistakenly interpreted the incident with the air-conditioner as theft when in actuality it was stored safely at our Executive Directors request and returned to you with other more valuable items. We were persuaded to care for your father when others refused, but agreed due to your persistence. You chose to bring in the 24 hour companion and we accommodated your request.None of these accusations were brought forth before this review. We are disappointed that our care and good will has been eradicated by your misconception of the situation. We sincerely wish you and your family the best.
We had a horrible care experience at this facility. We had a more unique situation - we had a 24-hour caregiver service, hospice team, and Overlake Terrace to handle our dad's care. We paid to have Overlake Terrace in charge of medication management and assistance when needed by the 24-hour caregiver. These are the issues we had with Overlake Terrace: -It would sometimes take multiple hours for Overlake Terrace to respond to calls by our 24-hour caregiver for assistance for our father, either moving assistance or medication needed (as-needed medication that included anti-anxiety medication; our dad was a fall risk when he became over-anxious, so critical for him to receive this medication on time). -We paid Overlake Terrace for medication management (and to order medication when needed); however, there were multiple instances in which Overlake Terrace forgot to order medication in time and would call the day they ran out to have me pick up the medication and deliver. -The lead of caregivers was the very opposite of caring and seemed like she didn't care about our father's situation or well being. -The communication and coordination was horrible. This facility did not seem to be a "caring" facility. If anything went wrong with our father, they would always point at one of the other parties involved. One of our 24-hour caregivers even requested help to get our father off the floor, and the Overlake Terrace caregivers said that that wasn't their responsibility (even though we paid for that service). -To top it all off, we moved our dad to an adult family home (best decision for him; he is much happier and care is superb) and left some belongings in the apartment to pick up in our next run (since we had the apartment through the middle of the month.) We come back a week later, and the AC unit is missing. It turned out Overlake Terrace was "storing" it in maintenance closet, so it wouldn't get stolen. Really? What about his other expensive belongings? Why didn't they call to inform us that they had done that? So on top of the whole experience, they tried to steal the AC unit. Of course, they didn't communicate what they did. Our Group Health hospice team was very disappointed in Overlake Terrace as well and had STRONGLY recommended we move our father. If you have a relative with higher care needs, DO NOT come to Overlake Terrace. Adult family homes are much better options! I would recommend to Overlake Terrace that they learn to communicate and coordinate better in situations such as these where there are multiple parties involved with someone's care and clearly communicate the plan to all of their caregivers. I think these circumstances could have been avoided if there was better communication and coordination, which I believe are the KEY elements for caring for someone and working with families.
My mother has been living at Overlake Terrace for the past two years. She was previously in the assisted living area and had to move into the memory care area. The staff at Overlake is incredible. In both areas of this community the personnel is exemplary. The directors, nursing staff, care workers, dining room individuals and custodial department are all friendly, efficient, and willing to work with the families to do whatever it takes to make loved ones cared for and supported. When you walk through the front door of Overlake Terrace there is a feeling of comfort and warmth. Also, there always seem to be some kind of activity happening for the residents in both the upstairs area and memory care area. I find it is a privilege to have my mother so well cared for and even loved by many of the staff. Remarkable, dedicated, devoted, caring, supportive, willing to work with the families—you name it and Overlake Terrace deserves an A. I am disheartened to read the review of May 31, 2013. This is so far from the truth. I know, because I am there every day at Overlake. I tend to be a bit of a control freak and I just like to be with my mother whether she recognizes me or not. I spent 3 years looking at over 50 facilities in Washington, as well as Utah and Nevada. At first, I thought it would be great for my mom to be in a brand new facility. My mother moved into one in Bellevue in 2010 where we saw a 66% increase in charges within the first year. Also, this new facility did not provide organized activities for the first 6 months of operation even though this was part of the overall monthly fee. We moved my mom into Overlake Terrace in 2011 because this was her first choice. She felt more at home with the residents here. I continue to be impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail at Overlake. Please, do not read too much into the extremely, over-reactive, negative review. My mother, when she could communicate, always said how much she liked being at Overlake Terrace and how kind the staff was to her. If you cannot keep your loved one at home with you, then the next best place for them is at Overlake Terrace.
Thank you Carol, your kind words are deeply appreciated. Our residents are like family and the reason I, and the rest of the staff are excited to come to work each day. Our Activities staff are exemplary and truly the heart of our Community. Your review is lovely and made my day...Thank You!
My experience at Overlake Terrace has always been exceptional. I have visited the establishment on numerous occasions; on every one of my visits, the staff has been very friendly and attentive. Both of my parents absolutely love it there because they receive individualized attention and care. They have formed many close relationships with the caregivers. Also, the facility is beautifully maintained. It is very clean and elegant.
Thank you Christina, so happy to hear you and your parents appreciate our kind and caring staff.
Good location and very home like residences. They truly make the residents feel at home. I like the range of care they provide from independent to memory care. The food is amazing! The staff is quite welcoming, and caring.
My family member lives at Overlake Terrace because he is paraplegic and requires assisted living. He has a bright, comfortable apartment with a wheelchair-accessible shower. He finds the caregivers, the staff, and the other residents friendly. During the week he often has an early dinner in the bright, spacious dining room where he sits with two regular tablemates. I usually join him for Sunday brunch and for holiday meals. He especially enjoys the diversity of his caregivers and finds them prompt, helpful, and capable. The staff discovered that he plays the guitar and now has him scheduled to lead bi-weekly singalongs both on the main floor and on the memory care floor, which he enjoys.
My mom has been a resident for over two years. Overlake Terr. has been a God send. The relief it affords the family is life giving and I can truly say they do all they can to show love and caring not only for the residents but also for the families.

This community has all the comforts of home and is able to provide a multitude of services. The chef is one of the best so no worries of weight loss here. The staff are warm and compassionate. Lots of activities and vans for transportation.
Thank for your kind words about our beautiful community - it's true from care, activities to meals we try our best!
My brother entered Overlake Terrace this February and is so very pleased with the warm and gracious atmosphere of his new home. The attention to every detail by the staff is phenomenal. During the transition I spent a lot of time with him at Overlake including having several meals with him in the spacious dining room. The food is wonderful and the wait staff is so very pleasant. All in all I would strongly recommend Overlake Terrace as a very special place to care for your loved one.
Thank you Fred, we glad you feel so highly and are happy you entrusted your brother to Overlake - he is blessing to our community!
Both of my parents have lived at Overlake Terrace since 2008. They require less "help" than some of the other residents but that's because they're still together and know how to make things work between them after almost 70 years of being married. They have slowly required a few more care options and it's always done so you'd almost not even notice there's a change in their routine, which is a good thing...it's never intrusive or overwhelming. And the care givers are very nice and friendly. When only one of my parents is left it's a great comfort to know that the other one will be able to stay in a place that they know. They don't get out and socialize because of their health problems, but they could if they wanted to, and that's important. There are many choices and options at Overlake Terrace, whether you take advantage of them or not, so it's like having a custom fit to your life style.
Thanks Cheryl, we appreciate the comments - we do our best to tailor fit needs to all who live at Overlake! Your parents are very sweet couple!
My family chose Overlake Terrace along with my parents two years ago after visiting other facilities as well. My parents are very happy living at Overlake Terrace and we are glad that they are in a safe and comfortable setting. The range of care from Independent Assisted Living to Memory Care and Hospice provides reassurance that they can be well cared for without having to move facilities. My parents have met many nice new people both residents and staff members. Many of the staff show good humor which is very important in working with elderly people. Humor helps to lighten up their day. My parents enjoy socializing with other residents during meals. That is very important for all residents. My rating on the food suggests that help from a nutritionist would be a good addition, but perhaps this already available through the nursing staff. We will inquire. There is a good range of activities for different people to choose from such as music, games of pool, exercising, and movies. My family and I feel very welcome when we stop in to visit. Aging can be difficult, such as giving up driving. However, Overlake Terrace has helped my parents continue to live in their own apartment with services such as van transportation, assistance with medications etc. The bus drivers do a good job getting to know residents and helping them feel independent but also looking out for their safety. Many seniors hold out living on their own as long as possible but they can also be isolated. I am very happy my parents chose Overlake Terrace.
Thank you Barbara for you comments, we do appreciate them. From care staff to drivers we all try our best to make not only people living with us, but also their families a positive one. If you have some questions in particular, please stop by and we can help you find whom you would need to chat with.
The Staff at Overlake Terrace is what makes this a wonderful home for my parents. It is obvious that they care for the residents by the way that they speak to them, engage them, and care for them. The staff does not change over, many of them have been there longer than my parents. They are kind and compassionate in the way they care for and groom the memory care residents. The memory care staff is wonderful and the nurses are always willing to go the extra step. We love Overlake Terrace!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about Overlake!
My dad has been living at OT for almost two years now. During my daily visits with him, I have found that the staff genuinely cares about the physical and mental well being of the residents. They are quick to honor requests and never fail to greet both residents and visitors by name. The LPNs on duty are professional, knowledgeable, and quick to both recognize potential health problems and notify the family. Residents can fill their day with scheduled activities from outings to car shows and local fishing ponds to visiting musical groups. I know that while my dad does not participate in all activities, there are usually two or three a week that he tells me about. I, too, visited several assisted living facilities before I chose OT for my dad and, after two years, I still feel that I made the best possible choice for his care, comfort, and safety.
Thanks Hank for sharing your comments and your father with us he is a truly special gentleman - look forward to seeing the tomatoes again this year!
Both of my parents are residents at Overlake Terrace in the memory care division. I can't say enough good things about the quality of their lives, the facility and the overall care they receive from the staff. As a regular visitor I see the daily activities, not just on special occasions. The staff is consistently attentive, caring, professional and friendly. Overlake Terrace has been a lifesaver for us. Literally and figuratively! I give it my wholehearted recommendation!
Thank you so much Shari for your kind words and glowing praise. We are honored and blessed to have your parents with us.
My 96 old mother & 97 year old father have been in Overlake Terrace for 5 years. As the daughter, I know the wonderful consistent staff, the caring drivers, the activity coordinators + many care givers. My parents are doing well in this caring environment.. My father in Kingswood Court. I sing the praises of Overlake Terrace.
Thank you for your comments and we are honored to have all who join us at Overlake!
Lovely, spacious assisted living and memory care community. Very close to Bellevue, easy access off 520 and the 148th St Exit. Community sits on a hill, surrounded by trees. Parking lot is on an incline, all paved, with sidewalks. Friendly staff and residents. Very nice apartments. Plenty of activities. Good food and nice, friendly dining experience.
Thank you for very descriptive comments about our community. You have mentioned just some of the many wonderful aspects of our community which we are proud to share.
The food here is almost the same as you get in hospitals in the Eastlake area. In the last two years I've two hospitals in the area: one for 3 weeks and one for about four days.
We appreciate all comments and always strive our best in all areas of our community - if you would like to chat further with our dining services manager - I would be happy to oblige.
My Grandpa and step Grandma have been at Overlake Terrace for several years now. Whenever I've come to visit, I've been impressed with quality of care, thoughtfulness of staff, and cleanliness of the facilities. My Grandpa can't really hear well over the phone and doesn't really do computers. As such, I've really appreciated the staff's willingness to receive email for my Grandpa, print it out and give it to him in hard copy and then help him respond. They really go the extra mile to help family members stay connected with their loved ones in residence there.
Thank you Dave for your response, your Grandparents are a true blessing and it is our pleasure to help - I know he enjoys the e-mails and pictures you and your family send!
My mother has lived at Overlake Terrace for several years and I've always been impressed with the care my Mom has received from the staff at Overlake Terrace. The facilities are beautiful and the activities for all levels of care, especially holiday celebrations, are always colorful and fun. Thanks to Overlake Terrace, my Mother is very content and comfortable. Thank you.
Thank you Patricia, for entrusting you mom to Overlake. We appreciate that you enjoy our community, staff and the work our activities and dining staff put in to help celebrate all the special days.
Our mother has been calling Overlake Terrace "home" for nearly 12 years. Our family chose this residence after visiting 15 others in the Bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond area and we have never once regretted it. "Excellent" in all respects!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and allowing us to continue to take care of your mom for this length of time.
Since more than 8 years ago, I had the need to move my senior parents out of their independent living into assisted living. It was a very critical decision regarding my parents' well being and future course; the expenses also would produce rapid drain of resources for any family. We spent many months visiting and revisiting adult homes, and assisted living facilities with memory care. We chose Overlake Terrace because of the facilities, services, activities, but most of all the staff. We felt from the staff a genuine sense of caring for the residents (and not just putting on a good show for families to earn their business.) This was clear and strong through scheduled and impromptu observations. With this basis of caring, the staff would facilitate if not mandate excellence of care. Years have gone by. Overlake Terrace have gone under ownership and some staff changes, but that fundamental caring culture remains unchanged. We waived temptations of moving my parents to a different facility. My father passed nearly 5 1/2 years ago at Overlake Terrace ; my mother moved from assisted living to Kingswood (their memory care unit). She is approaching 92 and we hope she will continue for many years.
Thank you Keith, for sharing your thoughts and alowing us to take care of your parents. I remember when your parents first joined and I know we all appreciate the chance to continue to care for your wonderful mother.
Our family visited several assisted living facilities in the greater Seattle area. It was obvious none provided that special feeling we were looking for. Immediately after walking into Overlake Terrace, everyone in our family knew this was the future home for our Mother. The facility was warm and active with people laughing and enjoying each other's friendship. It felt like one big happy family. What a delight to watch. Staff members were there to greet and welcome us to Overlake Terrace. As we toured, we were impressed with how the staff interacted with the residents. The staff recalled everyone's name along with directing a brief personal comment to each person. You could tell the staff was engaged in a positive manner with the community at Overlake Terrace. It was an easy choice for my Mother to make, because she knew, she would be very happy at Overlake Terrace.
Doug, we appreciate what you have shared and are happy to hear you feel the same way about Overlake, the people living here and the staff who serve-It truly is a community to be proud to be a part of!
I have been coming to Overlake Terrace for over 6 years visiting friends in both independant and Memory Care. It's a wonderful "home" and staff amazing and so special!
Thank you for your kind words about our community and staff - we try to make it as much as we can like home!
It is a very cozy and warm environment much like a home but well organized and well run. Physical plant is wonderful...one feels like home....integration of the community is well done. Staff is professional and courteous. The residents appear happy and active within the community...It is truly unlike any retirement center I have been in before.
Thank you Dr Sine, for your comments about our community - we all strive to make Overlake as warm and inviting as we can for those living with us and their guests.
My mother stayed here in the past and now we are looking for a retirement community for our relatives from Hamilton, Montana. Based on my mother's past positive experience, we visited again and feel like this is the best choice. The staff is competent and caring. The food is superb, much like a top quality hotel restaurant. They are able to accommodate my uncle who is independent and my aunt who needs some assistance. They offer a wide range of activities. The facility is great, with a welcoming lobby, library, bistro, movie theater, outdoor patios, lawns, and even raised beds for residents who want to continue to grow flowers and vegetables.
Thanks Karin, it always nice to hear the comments of family members about our community. We are so glad you and your family feel so positive about Overlake!
I have been familiar with Overlake Terrace for many years. The staff, who provide an exceptionally high quality of care, are clearly driven by values which are from the purest of motives. Having interacted with the leadership and management on several occasions, it is apparent that their mission to care for their residents in a respectful and caring manner has been achieved many times over.
Thank you Paul, for sharing your impression about our community - of course we agree whole heartedly - our staff strive to be the best, with care and compassion.
My parents have been living there for 5 years. We looked at so many places on east side and found this one to be the best. First, food and dining is outstanding. Healthy and beautiful dining room amenities. Activities are frequent and lively. Many of the staff have been there all 5 years, and so compationate about the residents. Our family loves OLT!
Heidi, we are so happy that you and your parents have been with us for 5 years - time certainly passes quickly! We are thankful for how you feel about our community and staff and appreciate your comments.
Amazing care and great, diverse staff. They are always helpful And have a great attitude. Soher Bishai the director is a great leader . She has a great combination of compassion and assertiveness. She takes pride in her care for others.
Thank you Rania, we could not agree more - we have a wonderful team, lead by a great ED!
The staff at Overlake are great; I've loved getting to know them. Everyone I have met has been really very friendly and attentive. The facility is really beautiful and is maintained quite well. It is very clear that a lot of work and attention goes into its upkeep.
Thank you for noticing the care that we take, the care of all at Overlake is our no#1 priority and we appreciate your comments.
I have been at overlake terrace many times to visit a friend. I was always impressed by the cleaningness of the place and the friendly staff. I had a couple of meals and the foot was outstanding. I will choose Overlake terrace when or if I need assisted living care.
Thank you Nicole for your thoughts - we are so glad you enjoy the community and look forward to seeing you.
What makes Overlake Terrace so special is the quality of the staff. It is truly one of, if not the top assisted living, independent living and memory care communities in the Seattle-Tacoma area. This is the kind of facility that more seniors and or their caregivers should have the option to choose.
Thank you for your kind recommendation!
Overlake Terrace has not only a beautiful park like setting but a lovley well appointed building. The staff is dedicated to quality care and the Executive Director has set a standard of excellence. It is a premier assisted living community that offers seniors a comfortable and quality place to live and thrive.
Thank you for sharing your comments about our community-We do apppreciate it and we feel the same way too!
It is an excellent place for seniors. It makes them feel they are part of a community where they can have friends with common interests. A community that can provide them with all the convenient accommodations that a senior person needs. Also it is a very safe and secure place.
Thanks Sam for sharing your thoughts!
Dear Senior Homes, I am delighted to have the opportunity to express my highest admiration and respect for Dr. Bishai, and the entire staff at Overlake Terrace. During the past 8 years, since 2005, I have served Overlake Terrace continually as a vendor. I have visited the community almost every week. During these years I have observed that all of the staff, from the executive, to the reception, to the kitchen and the maintenence always treat everyone in the community with the highest dignity and respect. Everyone enjoys the same the same joyful courtesey. They treat their residents this way, they treat eachother this way, and they even treat outside vendors like me this way. As a result, the residents at Overlake Terrace are happy, comfortable, and safe. They always have a number of activities to choose from, and can be seen and heard visiting in the lounges, enjoying eachother like they were in their own homes. In addition, Overlake Terrace always maintains their building and grounds to the highest standards. Every resident room, and hall, and lounge, and even the parking lots and sidewalks are always perfectly repaired and ready. I would offer my most enthusiastic recommendation for Overlake Terrace as Senior Home of the Year!
Thanks Tom for your enthusiastic endorsement! It is always great to have others see the community and look forward to many more visits!
the facility is very well kept, nice and bright, the staff is always helpful, the food is great. the manager is very professional and friendly. Every time I visited I was very impressed, I will recommend the place to anyone who needs it. I visited the facility many times and atttended a couple of functions there, the parties they make for different events are fun for the tenants and their relatives and guests. I hope you will consider them for the best place, providing great care. I was also very impressed by the alzheimer facility and the care of the staff there.
Thank you for your visits to our beautiful community and for sharing your thoughts - look forward to seeing you again soon!
Every time I visit my family, I get the feeling that all the residents are happy and content. Overlake Terrace is very organized, clean, and they have a wonderful kitchen staff- a plus for tasty food! The executive director, Soher, is always available to me. She's very friendly and always willing to answer my questions.
Thank you Rosana for spending the time to share your thoughts about our amazing community!
I have visited this community several times and what can say. Each time I have been here I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the place looks so nice and the residents look as if they are having a great time. Kudos to Overlake!!
Thanks Anne for your kind words -we look forward to seeing you again at Overlake soon!
I had the opportunity to evaluate the facility for a close relation. Was very impressed with the facility, its cleanliness, orderly manner, dedicated compassionate staff and most of all the personal touch given to each resident. The residents I had a chance to meet with could not say enough good things about the faclity. I was especially impressed with the director of the facility who seemed totally engaged at all times. Her door was open to any and all at all times. She was very interested in every detail and was noticeably a fully dedicated hands on manager. I would recommend the facility to my closest relative without any reservations.
Thank you for your comments and recommendations - we are all very proud of our community.
I have visited this community on more than one occasion, I have known people that have been residents there. I also have worked in the past with the manager of Overlake Terrace & know she strives for excellence in everything she does. She cares deeply for the wellbeing of her residents. I have recommended Overlake Terrace to several friends looking for a home with trustworthy, professional, & caring staff, nutritious food, & worthwhile activities. What I hear back from them is that Overlake Terrace was a "perfect fit" and how wonderful the staff & care is. I will continue to recommend Overlake Terrace to anyone that asks!
We are so glad that you shared how you feel about our community and appreciate the recommendations.
My long-time friend has been at Overlake Terrace facility for the last three years. During that time she has progressively declined but the staff has not declined in their care...rather they have increased their care on her behalf to keep her well tended. I have never met a staff person who was not cheerful and helpful. Thanks to all of them. Nancy, friend.
My experience with assisted living facilities was over the years my husband and I spent over seeing his uncle's care in another state. When my mother needed care my sister and I visited every facility we could find within about a 20 mile radius. We had become very discouraged before we viewed the last place - Overlake Terrace. As soon as we walked in, we knew this was Mom's next home. We moved furniture from her house, bought some new items and when she came home from rehab this is where we brought her. That has been 5 1/2 years ago and she wishes she'd moved here sooner. We have never met a staff member who wasn't wonderful and as a family, we enjoy knowing that Mom lives somewhere she loves.
