I just walked around Mountlake Terrace Plaza. It was an old building; they were trying to refurbish it. It looked nice, but they had construction going on. The lady was very nice. She showed me the new rooms that were done, but they didn't have any availability. The only thing I really liked about Mountlake Terrace Plaza was that there weren't four people shoved in a bedroom together. They were like studio apartments, and those were nice. We had some fruits and cheeses in the office, which were good. However, because my mom is a fall risk, they wouldn't take my mom. They have a higher price because they have a fee that goes on top of what you're going to pay to move in there. My mom was on Social Security and survivor's benefits, so we just couldn't afford it.

Mountlake Terrace Plaza is excellent. The place is newly remodeled. It's small in scale, but not huge, and I like that. The grounds are nicely maintained. The location is very nice and very convenient. The staff and the food were excellent. They have everything for activities. They have field trips, exercising, shopping, guest speakers, and games. My father went to a couple of exercises, and he watched a few movies.
