The people were very friendly and extremely helpful. They took phone calls whenever I called to ask questions. The way they do their care levels is just exactly what we need. They're one of the few places that are not as expensive and is very cost-effective. They have a 6th floor memory care unit which we would likely need. My mother has the option to stay where she is if we can afford it, or she could go with my dad into a shared apartment. The shared unit is an efficiency apartment with only one bedroom. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the meals are restaurant-style. We like that they do their laundry once a week in one load, and not mix them with everybody else's. They also come in and clean the apartments once or twice a week. There's a snack room and transportation. The place smells good. There are lots of places to go and things to do, like games and movies. It's an older building but that doesn't matter.

My parents will be moving in. It fit our needs the best. The rooms were nice, clean, and good. They had many activities, meals, a chapel, and games. Everything was very good, but it's an older building. They have excellent staff who've been there for a long time, and the ones who haven't were very kind and courteous. The food could be a little healthier. It's not bad, but I felt like there could be more vegetables and fresh ingredients.

It is hemmed in by water on two sides; the Rocky River for which it is named on the east, and Lake Erie to the north. The town’s population was 20,213 as of the 2010 census. The town hosts several festivals throughout the year, such as the Rocky River Fall Arts Festival and the River Days. There are eight parks scattered throughout town to allow residents to enjoy the outdoors.
