It would cost $555 to distribute my mother's medication each month at Brookdale Las Vegas. The room was small for the price, and they didn't have much available. They showed me a room that she'd have to share and it had no closet. The other room was private, but it was pretty small. There's no flat flee, and the nurse has to diagnose what the resident needs; you can't decide for yourself. It was so expensive. They were remodeling the place, so it was clean. They had a wing for Alzheimer's, and the residents were locked up. They had an activity room, a movie theater, a craft room, and a nice dining room.
We went to Brookdale Las Vegas. The gentleman who we talked to wasn't very friendly at all and was rushing us to get out. It was also very depressing when we went in. There were a lot of people in wheelchairs and oxygen out in a small lobby. It looked more like you're checking into a motel lobby. It was a clean facility. The price was way out of my price range. The dining room looked clean and organized. It looked very clean on the outside except for the construction they were doing. The landscaping was very good.
Our tour at Brookdale Las Vegas was very informative. The lady who took us around did a nice job. We are interested in that property for my dad, perhaps when something occurs, but it is too soon. The convenience to where we live stood out to me. They had activities. The rooms were perfectly fine. The staff seemed caring and interested in the patients.
Brookdale Las Vegas is fantastic. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the place. It's just a nice and beautiful community. I was dealing mostly with the marketing director and I met the head of activities. I loved it. They also deal with memory care patients aside from assisted living. I chose them because I felt the warmth of the entire community, especially from the staff. They have the option to have two people to a room, or a singular room. There's also a little living area and a kitchenette. The apartment I chose for my mother wasn't huge or anything, but it was so adorable. The shower was so nice, clean, and convenient. They also have 24/7 care and you can't beat it for the price. It's excellent.
Brookdale Las Vegas was a very nice and upscale community. The staff members were very nice and answered all my questions. They had semi-private and private rooms with lots of facilities. They had a common area, a weight room, and field trips for their residents. They provided three meals a day and laundry.
We liked Brookdale a lot. We liked the cleanliness, the general staff knowledge, and the interaction with the patients. I was very pleased. We would consider them. The patients seemed to be very happy with the facility. The staff was very good, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant.
We visited Brookdale, and I was underwhelmed. The staff wasn't friendly, the place looked dirty, and they didn't know we had an appointment. I'm not impressed with the facilities. They have no uniforms. They were working, and just wearing what they wanted to wear.
We apologize that your tour of Brookdale Las Vegas did not meet your expectations. Please be assured our staff is continuously committed to providing the highest-quality service and care for each resident and we will share your feedback with our management team.
My visit to Brookdale was good. It was very warm, inviting, and the rooms were very spacious. We didn't see as many people sitting around, but the staff was wonderful, and it was reasonable. It seemed like they only had one room available, and it was not enough to make my mom more productive. The girl behind the desk and the director were so entertaining and had high energy when they gave us the tour.
Brookdale Las Vegas was good. When we talked about setting a mailbox because my father likes to get mail, they were accommodating. Also, since my father is deaf, they wanted to learn about some signs to use for him for sign language. The manager that we talked to was very qualified and experienced. My sister was very impressed with the staff. The ambience was much better, but it seemed busy.
Brookdale is OK. My father is there. They don't always have the alarms on their doors. The food is OK. I don't see the housekeeping staff, and I change his bed twice a week, vacuum, and clean his bathroom. The rooms are adequate, the employees are very nice, and the residents seem happy. They have a garden area and gazebo which is very nice, but the sidewalks have a gap which needs to be repaired because two people have already fallen. They need to improve on cleanliness and safety features.
My dad went to Brookdale Las Vegas. It was OK. My dad didn't care for it too much and was dying when he was there. I don't think they're set up for a person who's dying. My dad loved the staff, helpers, and med techs. They were quite new, so I can't really say much about them. They're trying to fix the facility up a little bit. The room he was in was wonderful, private, and all cleaned up and remodeled a little bit. It was very nice. My dad liked some of the food, and some of it he didn't like. I liked the location because it was close to me. Sometimes my dad would get lost in there, but he was able to get around. They could improve the food and the upkeep of the place.
Brookdale Las Vegas was very well-organized, well taken care of, the interest of the patients, and the people there. It was just kind of older, and also the people there are kind of low-functioning so it wasn't a good fit. It was alright. It was definitely older, and a little bit more standard.
I was impressed with Brookdale; it was very nice and was all on one level, which I liked. The atmosphere was friendly. I liked the lady who helped us.
My visit to Brookdale was OK. I wasn’t impressed, and I know for sure that I won't be going there. I didn’t like it because it looked like a prison to me and the dining area looked like a big buffet. Everybody was friendly, but I just didn’t like the whole setup.
I thought Brookdale Las Vegas was very nice and well kept. However, I thought it was more senior care and not assisted living. The rooms were very nice. The residents were all women with maybe one or two men, and most of them were in wheelchairs. They had activities available.
The facility was dirty, there was no staff except house keeping and kitchen help on Sunday when I went to Vegas to see my Mother. Since my last visit she had been moved to a different room and I could not find anyone to assist me. I wasn't the only one looking for a loved one there were two other people walking the halls with me doing the same thing. House keeping was mopping the floor in her room, not under the beds but the middle of the floor. My Mom was cold so I picked up her blanket off the floor which by the way house keeping mopped around and left it on the floor. My Mothers wheel chair was caked with hardened food and what ever else may have been living there. I believe that when the Loyalton was in charge things seemed much better.
