I visited this facility
Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes was very nice, very cheery, clean, and friendly. The individual houses were closer to the main building, which was more convenient. They offer transportation and security systems in the homes. They have outings for lunches, dinners, and shopping. One good thing about this place is if your condition deteriorates, you can just move to the assisted living side or the nursing home side.

I visited this facility
Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes was clean and nice. I liked that the fact that they were a husband and wife team, both retired doctors, and they were there in this facility themselves. It made me feel pretty good to think that out of all the places they could have gone, they chose this one as well. Medical-wise, it just felt like there was more access to medical needs and rehab facility. The lady who helped me with the tour was fantastic, wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, and spent a lot of time with me. She did a very nice job with the tour.

I visited this facility
We visited Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes and were treated nicely. The accommodations were very nice. The staff was kind, warm, knowledgeable, and informative. The physical appearance of the assisted living place was nice, but it had an old people feel.

I visited this facility
The visit at Rosegate was fine. It's a nice community. It has different buildings for different functions. It has courtyard, which is rather nice. The whole community is kept-up very well. They have a beautiful dining area. The decor is nice. They have big wide hallways and a very nice party room. Each apartment has its own patio. The apartments are quite small but they're nice. The staff was nice. We only met the leasing manager, but she was great.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I'm here at Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes and I'm looking for a way out. I was supposed to be on the independent side. I'm in a wheelchair and the nursing director came up to me and said they need me over here for two or three days to see how I do with my medications and see how well I move and all that. It's been two or three weeks now and the nurses all agree that I'm doing just fine with my medicines and my insulin. I have no problems with that because I've been on NCT for more than ten years. The property is very well-maintained. The nurses are just fine. I love all the people, they're just wonderful, but the management team really is no good. I keep asking the sales representative when do I pay the rent, and she said just hold off. It's like do I have to pay on both places? This place is messed up to say the least. I'm very unhappy here. They took a big bunch of money from me which probably I'll never see again. They said I need to go to Medicaid, but I really don't want to get on Medicaid. I'm waiting on the VA to tell me what's what. We had a meeting and they decided that I could not live on the portions that the more elderly eat because I'm an adult for all intents and purposes. They called the chef into a meeting and asked him if I could have adult portions and he was most gracious. The food itself is good, they should just improve on their management staff.
