It is a beautiful community. I liked their focus on whole spectrum living. It wasn't just an assisted living community, it was a community. There were a lot of people interacting together. The staff seemed very involved and all of them had very positive attitudes. It was a very nice place. They had a jam packed schedule, which is very good for active assisted living community members. They had a lot of activities going on. They had creative activities going on, and they go on outings. It's a newer facility.

Wynscape was very nice and clean, and the people were friendly. They took really good care of my friend. It was decorated really nice. He had a colostomy bag and he was in a diaper, and he was always clean when we were there. They played Bingo, and they had movies night and day.

My father is in Brighton Gardens of Wheaton. It's very bight, very inviting, and very welcoming. They had a sign there for me when I was going to look at it. They were well informed, and I was pleasantly surprised. They had a beautiful restaurant where everybody eats and elevators at each end of the building, which made it a little easier for everybody to get to their rooms. They had a library, a private dining room if you want to have a special event with your family, a little area where you can play cards, and a coffee set up all day with health bars, fruit, and popcorn. They had bathrooms on the main level, a craft room, and a lot of activities that probably appeal to a lot of people, but they don't appeal to my dad so much. It's a newer facility that's easier to traverse when you have a little bit of dementia.
