I didn't like Tamarack. It had the damp smell of old people. The staff was OK. The apartments were small but OK. Everything was fine, except for the smell.

My dad is in Tamarack. It’s a fine assisted living place, and they take care of him. The meals are fine. Everything is fine. I don't have any complaints, and my dad doesn’t complain about anything. They offer a lot of stuff, but my dad doesn’t get involved in too many things. He’s best left alone. The food is overcooked once in a while, but old people don’t complain. He has a separate bedroom, and the help is friendly.

Tamarack is an old place. They don’t have a swimming pool or a facility for water aerobics. Everybody was very nice to us; however, we'd really like a pool, and that was that thing that put us off. The staff who accommodated us was very nice, cordial, and answered all of our questions. The food was excellent.
