At Heritage of Sandy Plains, we offer assisted living and memory care with an emphasis on involving the family and preserving a senior's independence for as long as possible. We have certified staff members, award-winning wellness programs and a state-of-the-art approach to senior care.
Featured Amenities
Heritage of Sandy Plains offers comfortable lodging and well-designed, accessible common areas. All apartment homes are quite spacious with a kitchenette, step-in showers, emergency call systems and in-suite climate control. All utilities except for telephone and cable are included in the monthly rental fee.
As a full-service community, we provide our residents with three hot and nutritious meals each day. Dishes are freshly prepared on-site in our own kitchen and served by friendly staff in the community dining room. Memory care residents also benefit from our specialized snack and hydration program.
Available Services
All incoming residents receive a full assessment of their physical and mental needs with on-going monitoring from our trained staff. Our staff is on duty twenty-four hours to respond to emergencies, help with medication and assist residents with their daily needs. Our memory care residents live in small groups and enjoy a variety of activities intended to enrich their lives.
Our housekeeping and maintenance staff are available to handle routine and emergency matters, allowing seniors to enjoy their retirement and focus on their life and personal welfare. For added convenience, private transportation to errands and medical appointments is available.

I visited this facility
Heritage of Sandy Plains was good. When the time comes, we'd certainly consider going there. The main lady was 100% very good. It was around lunchtime when we were there and the lunch was very good. The staff was excellent, very friendly, and efficient. They had lots of activities, transportation, a garden, a little library, and a movie room. The food was not institutional. It was good.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Heritage of Sandy Plains has very caring and pleasant personnel and excellent food. The staff seems to be happy working there. They have two dining areas and they have two choices of meals. If the residents don't want those two choices, they have alternatives like sandwiches. I ate there for about three weeks with my husband when he first got there, and I never ate the same food twice. They also have soup at lunch and dinner before their meals every day.

I visited this facility
Heritage of Sandy Plains had very small rooms, especially for two people. They had a nice dining room and activities, plus social events for the residents, some games, impromptu performances, and a little movie theater. It was an OK place that looked nice. The staff was very nice, helpful, and caring. They had good food.
