Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living constantly has different activities going on like Cowboy Day and a Halloween Costume Contest. It was a much larger place, and they had organization meetings and seminars for seniors. They offered me the same opportunities the regular family members get, even though Mom is not a resident there. Their food was good and the place was really nice.

I am happy with Buffalo Crossings. The staff, administration, and medical team are very welcoming. They know what needs to be done for each individual and they seek to achieve that. It's a very clean and well-run facility. The administration that I worked with was phenomenal, and they just stepped up every single time. My parents have a 1-bedroom which has a very good-sized living area and bath, and it's quite bright, very clean, and gives a very open, homey, and warm feeling.

I was very positively impressed with Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living. It had a very good feel, and the staff accommodated me extremely well. I had lunch there, and it was great. The food was excellent. They had game rooms, outside porches located around the building, walking areas, small rooms for card games, and a chair exercise room for physical therapy. They had the minutes of the meetings of the residents committee posted on their bulletin board so that everybody knew what was going on. It was beautifully typed up with the names of the attendees of the meeting, what they said, issues that were brought up, and the resolutions. You know that the staff was there and taking the suggestions and recommendations of their residents seriously. Everyone was so happy there. The lady in charge of activities was the most charming young woman, and she was busy working with the residents.

My mom is in a place called Buffalo Crossings. I think it's nice, but with COVID right now, she's saying there weren't a lot of people, so I just want to take a look on what kind of activities other places have. I think the representatives and the coordinators there were very friendly and nice. My mom also said she likes the food, and it's pretty good. They do bus trips, and I know they have a lot of activities that are scheduled. My mom enjoys what's in there, so I would say it's good. Everybody in the facility has been vaccinated now, which is awesome. They were very proactive in getting everyone vaccinated. The employees are all pretty much vaccinated. I haven't been back in her room, but she is in a studio there. I think it's a very clean and very nice place. Anytime somebody got COVID, I was told right away that they isolated everybody, so I think it's run really well. It's $3800 a month, but it's in Florida so I guess it's fairly reasonable.
