My cousin has moved into Village Veranda at Lady Lake. They have been very helpful in getting him in and getting him set up. They set up his apartment with his stuff, too. The facility is new, so it's very nice and very clean. The staff has been great and they have an activity room, too.

The Springs of Lady Lake was wonderful, but I can't afford it. It's lovely and had all the activities. The building was like a big square with a square in the center. It had an open patio with chairs and things. The rooms were nice and had a kitchenette and a very large bathroom. They had lots of dedicated little rooms like libraries and for computers. They had a beautiful dining room. The office manager and the director of nursing were excellent. My overall impression when I first came in was the residents looked happy and were interacting with the staff on a friendly basis. It was clean and inviting.

The Springs of Lady Lake looks very nice. The place has hardwood floors which is nice, nice dining facility, and rooms. They have activities, a chapel, a library, and a number of seating areas both inside and out. They have a courtyard, a screened-in area, and a huge open porch in the front.

The Springs of Lady Lake was very nice. The rooms were very nice. The floor plans were wonderful. There was a separation from the living room to the bedroom and the kitchenette was wonderful. It had a sink and a microwave, but no stove. It had a nice, small apartment sized refrigerator and cupboards on the top and the bottom with a little bar coming out. The dining room was beautiful. They offer a three-course meal that includes dessert. It's very clean and it had no smells. The people in there were laughing and giggling, having such a nice time, and they were so happy. I really liked it. It's just we can't afford it right now. It's beautiful. They even had cameras up and they had a screen right at the front desk where you could see every doorway. They're very gracious and very nice people. All the residents were dressed nice. There wasn't anybody there that smelled like pee. They were not dragging themselves around and they all seemed happy. I watched the meal courses come out, the salads, the main dish, and the drinks, and it was the best. Everything was homemade.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing is a beautiful place. It's the largest community in the United States as far as assisted living. It's newer, huge, and has all the amenities you'd want. It has a big lobby when you walk in. It has a bar if you drink liquor. They have a big dining room beside that, and there's convenience for sodas and salads. If you don't want to eat in the dining room, you could go to this place and get sandwiches, but you have to pay for that, which is very inexpensive.
