Description of Summerfield Suites LLC Assisted Living
Summerfield Suites LLC is a homelike assisted living community offering seniors a variety of care services dependent upon each individual's needs. A nurse is on staff to provide skilled nursing care and medication management, and a physician, physical and occupational therapists and a podiatrist visit the community on a regular basis. Compassionate caregivers are on hand to assist residents with daily living tasks. They also are trained in providing memory care services.
This community is securely enclosed and contains picturesque outdoor spaces where seniors can socialize, relax or do some gardening. Residents can participate in many on-site activities, such as exercise classes, trivia games and Bingo. Outings, parties and visiting entertainment keep seniors active and engaged.
There is a beauty salon/barbershop on the property, and resident transportation is provided for doctor's appointments and shopping. Delicious meals are shared in a community dining room.

I visited this facility
I liked Summerfield Suites. The husband and wife running it went out of their way. The husband took one of the people to get his license renewed, which I thought was very caring and very personal. He will do things for you and fix anything in your room. Most rooms had a little kitchen with a microwave, sink, and a refrigerator. If you're applying for Medicaid, you need to share a room. I liked the way it was set up wherein one bed was on one side and one was on the other side. The studios and one-bedrooms all had kitchenettes and walk-in showers. They had nurses on duty, visiting physician, three meals a day, life enrichment activities, outings, and transportation to special events and beauty salon.
