Park of Lake Forest is a full-service retirement community providing independent living, assisted living and memory care services to Florida seniors. Our homelike community is surrounded by majestic oak trees and is centrally located just minutes from downtown Sanford, the Seminole Mall, and nearby Orlando and Mount Dora.

I found it for mother, and we're very pleased with it so far. It's an exceedingly good fit for her, and they're taking care of her needs. The first week or so was a big adjustment, but it's working out well. She has a one-bedroom apartment, the restaurant is open from 7 am to 7 pm, so she can eat anytime she wants, and they have three special meals per day. They have people to assist her whenever they have exercise classes, crafts, and movies. They play bingo, take walks, and go on a bus to the grocery store or mall once a week.

It was a beautiful facility with nice ground and great activities and amenities. It had everything that you would need in assisted living, but the apartments were too small. The staff was very accommodating.
