Manor Care was nice and clean. My friend was in rehab. I didn't see as much of it as the others. My friend's room was a nice size and it was clean. It was rehab, so it was just short-term. It was OK. I saw the main entry and then the hallway getting to her room, but it wasn't anything outstanding.

Stratford Court of Palm Harbor is great. It's a beautiful facility with great rooms, offerings, and amenities, but their availability is not because you got to go on a wait list for two to four months. We had lunch and the food was delivious and the menu was fabulous. The dining area was great, with white tablecloths on all the tables. They had a workout facility, a library with computers, an outdoor living space with a pool, and an area in the middle of the first floor which is a large gathering place where residents could gather and visit. They had several activities room including a combination card and game room. The place looks modern, new, very fresh, and in absolutely good condition. I liked all of the staff.

Stratford Court of Palm Harbor was very nice and very clean. The one-bedroom was very nice. The staff was very pleasant. They have a courtyard and there's a golf course nearby. The parking was fine. The building was nice. We just stopped in unexpected, but they were very gracious.

It is beautiful. It's like a five-star hotel. Cindy was very pleasant, lovely, and still keeps in contact with me to see how my mom is doing. There were activities going on there, but it was kind of quiet. It wasn't really busy, but we could tell things were happening soon. It was a much larger place, but it was welcoming. They have beautiful grounds. It was very impressive.

St. Mark Village is a buy-in location, quite expensive, but it seems very nice. Their activities are right up there. The condition of the building was a five. The staff is very helpful. Also it is in a very good location right next to a shopping center.

Stratford Court of Palm Harbor is a notch above as far as the furnishing and the presentation of all the facilities. However, the units themselves are a step below. What stood out to me is the quality of the furnishings on the main floor where all the activities take place. It is very well decorated. It has a homey feel to it. The people, not only the staff, but the residents, seem friendly as well. The food is very good. They have a salad bar and you have a choice of appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts for the evening meal. They have another whole page where they have daily items that you can choose from, like at a restaurant. The activities looked very nice. The rooms that they have for the different activities were nicely decorated. They have a lot going on there. It is a good, big size place, so I'm sure they can afford to do more as far as the staff and so forth.

Stratford Court of Palm Harbor is a nice place and Palm Harbor is a nice location. The only negative is the rooms are a little small, but other than that, it's got everything my mother needs. They have a Bridge club, little coffee shop, crocheting club restaurant, happy hour on Friday nights, they do banking and shopping, and once a week light housekeeping and changing the sheets. I won't worry about her there because I feel confident in them and that she'll be well taken care of. It's clean, nice, a little dated, but it's in very good shape. The staff is great and really nice.

Stratford Court was more luxurious. The apartments were very small for the same price. They offer two meals a day, and the facility itself was not as inviting as the other one. It looked better, but it didnt provide the services we wanted. There was a mix-up, and they told me somebody was going to wait for me, but she wasnt told, so she came out in a hurry and did everything in a hurry. I got into the very needy people and they took me to the other side, which were really rentals. They took me to an apartment that somebody left and I wasnt impressed. They have a gym and a pool, but they didnt impress me.

Stratford Court of Palm Harbor was a very nice facility as far as the building and the furnishings were concerned, and it had a great deal to offer. I found the people quite friendly. There were many people out and walking around and talking to each other, and it seemed very lively. Everyone might be old, but they seemed young. They have a private area for guests and the food is excellent. They offer two meals a day. You can either have lunch or dinner along with breakfast. It's a little more expensive than an average place, but it certainly isn't in the highest tier. It's in a very nice residential area, but just a few minutes away is a shopping center.
Go a bit further out to explore pricing and amenities.
