I like The Citadel. It is nice. I haven't been in any other place to compare it with, but I'm satisfied here. I especially like the staff and the service in the dining room. They have bingo, card games, performers in music, and movies every night. I have not attended anything because I'm still unpacking and taking care of my personal problem; however, I know there are lots of activities. I like the food very much. They also have housekeepers come in once a week and help you with your cleaning. The grounds are kept up nicely. Most people that I talk to that live here are satisfied too.
The Citadel was very nice. They have 1-bedroom, 2-baths and 1-bedroom, 1-baths available. They were nice units, but a little bit on the small side. It's very clean. It's an older facility, but it's been kept up. We toured the dining room, the grounds, and the swimming pool. The staff was very nice. I liked the place. The staff was very professional and answered all of our questions. The grounds were nice.
Citadel Senior Living was very nice. The people were very nice too. It was bright, sunny, and it seemed very clean. The staff seems very attentive. It was great. They have individual activities where the people play cards a lot and socialize with each other. They also have group activities like bingo, movie nights, and things like that.
I visited the Citadel, but its just too far away from my congregation in Chandler. We had lunch there, met some people, and other people came and engaged us in conversation. That would be nice, but it cost a lot of money for me too. The rooms were better, and it had more space, and it seemed newer. Its very, pleasant, open, and airy. If you go from independent living to assisted living, you move to a different part of the campus, and you have different friends. I liked the roominess of their dining room.
The Citadel has good people who care. The place is really clean and pretty open. The staff is nice, friendly, and always willing to help.
We had a good visit at The Citadel. They showed us the different rooms and I liked the 2-bedroom deluxe. They have a laundry room and I like that they have a lot of activities. I liked the place. We ate there and the food was good. I liked the fact that they provide three meals a day. I liked that there was a sacrament meeting on Sunday.
The Citadel was a great community. They have a lot of social activities for the residents. The rooms were very nice. The residents bring their own furniture from home. The staff member who showed me around was friendly, relatable, personable, and great.
The Citadel's apartment was big enough. I do a lot of cooking for myself, and they have a big enough kitchen/dining room area where I can put my bookshelf that holds my stuff. They have a heated pool, water aerobics, laundry that you can use, and weekly housekeeping that comes and cleans your apartment. They also have bingo. Their food was pretty good.
My mother is very pleased with The Citadel and her accommendations. She's pleased with the food, the people, and the care that she gets. They take her to her doctors' appointments, and they go shopping at Wal-Mart once a week. Everybody seems to be happy there. The rooms are very nice and very clean. She has a one-bedroom with a bathroom, a little balcony, a little living area, and a kitchen with a little dining space. We had a meal there, and the food was excellent and had good presentation. The waiter was very friendly. We were impressed. They have a very well-stocked library, card rooms, a swimming pool, and elevators. The grounds are pleasant. There are little places where you can sit and just enjoy the outdoors. She's very content and happy there. The sales staff was very helpful during our tour and everybody was pleasant.
I have been here at The Citadel Senior Living for a week now. I toured six communities, this was my second pick because their price was right. Overall, Citadel Senior Living is great. They provide three meals a day, help me with laundry and housekeeping, and do a lot of activities, like bingo, Jeopardy, and trivia. We also have a country store that is open at certain times. The staff members are good. I haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. The food is good here, too.
My father is at The Citadel Senior Living and it has been very favorable. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is excellent. He is very happy there. They've got about everything that somebody might need except for Wi-Fi. He had to pay for his own. They provide transportation to shopping, doctors' appointments, and they have activities like Bingo and karaoke. They also have a library. So far, it's been excellent. I had a little issue and they were there within a half hour. This place is not that expensive. The room that he was able to get was much closer to the eating area, so it worked out better for him. He really feels comfortable here. When we went there, he knew that that was the place for him. Luckily, they had a room available that was on the bottom floor next to everything.
I visited the Citadel, and it seemed like a good place to live. They have a lot of stuff, and I considered it for my mom. I was impressed by it, and thought it was nice. The dining room was really nice, they have a big lobby area, game rooms, a laundry room, and a library. It looked like it was aging a bit.
My tour of The Citadel Senior Living was great. It was a beautiful place. They had the normal things that you would find, like the pool, a clubhouse, a restaurant, and laundry. They offered a lot of things. The staff was very nice.
I really enjoyed the tour at The Citadel. The facilities were not very elaborate, but they were very clean. The units were pretty big and the laundry facilities on every floor was a good deal. You didn't have to go very far to use the laundry. The cafeteria wasn't super posh, but it was nice. Their other amenities like transportation and other services were pretty good, too. The staff was also very nice and knowledgeable.
My mother-in-law has been in assisted living at The Citadel for over a month now. We chose that over the other places because they have a mass and communion from the Catholics. They have a separate facility that's independent living. They serve three meals a day plus all the snacks you could want. The staff makes sure she gets rides to her chemo, deals with her appointments, and contacts her doctors. They've been very good.
The Citadel Senior Living was old looking. The thing that we didn't like about it was the residents had to go out of their space to go to another building to eat and for activities. It wouldn't have been appropriate for my mother-in-law. The person who assisted me was new there and wasn't able to answer a lot of our questions, and that was a drawback for us. We visited the dining area, and it looked fine. The people looked pretty happy there. We asked some of the residents some questions, and I didn't hear any complaints. They didn't say anything bad. We went to the activity area, but we didn't see anything.
The Citadel was a very nice place. I noticed that there was no smell. I had a very nice tour although I had trouble getting into the smaller rooms. Everything was nice. The dining room was very nice, and the food was good. We had a very friendly welcome. I saw people in different rooms enjoying different things like cards and so on. The staff was very good, and the community itself was roomy and very pleasant.
The Citadel Senior Living was clean and very elegant and had very nice furnishings. The staff was very friendly and everybody we walked by said hello. The only thing we didn't like about it was the size of the rooms, which were really small, especially for my mom who was moving from a 4-bedroom home. The dining area looked like a very elegant restaurant and it was very nice. They have a little dog park area if you have a dog. They also have turtles and a rabbit. They were very client-oriented. The living area for the individual was small, and it was high-priced. The person who assisted me was fantastic.
Citadel has many activities through out the day. Is accommodating to those who are completely homebound and unable to make it to the dining area for their meals. Is convenient to those needing a higher level of care, from independent living, to a skilled nursing facility.
