We offer studio senior apartments in our Life’s Neighborhood for individuals living with Alzheimer’s or other dementia. These apartments are designed to make life easy to navigate — reducing anxiety and frustration. Our emergency call system and safe bathrooms ensure comfort and safety for our residents.

Our Care staff is properly trained to deliver nurturing care and communication, and understand that our residents need to feel valued, worthwhile. A licensed nurse is available to monitor health needs. Blood pressure and weight checks are provided monthly. Three delicious, nutritious meals are provided each day, designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia. Residents may choose from daily specials or request a favorite from our chef. Beverages and snacks are available throughout the day.

Personal and group activities provide enriching experiences on a daily basis. Individualized life histories, hobbies, and special interests are incorporated into our activity program.

Situated on the East Hill of Kent, we are convenient to shopping and restaurants yet set within the peacefulness of a lovely residential neighborhood. Located near Lake Meridian and Kent Station, residents can enjoy a relaxing picnic at the park or an afternoon of shopping and dining. At Aegis of Kent we realize that continued learning and socialization activities are just as important at age 70 as they are at age 17, and residents can enjoy dances at the local senior center or partake in exercise, cooking, or dancing classes for seniors at the Kent Commons both of which are located just minutes from our community.
