If you are looking for a very unsecured, unfriendly, rude, workers always on their phones, where no one ever answers the phone facility or blocks your number , or when they do answer they have an attitude like you disrupted them or hangs up on you. A Director who Never returns a phone call, No one ever checking in on the residents, or assisting them on daily needs, being double charged for food because your loved one has Alzheimer/dementia and forgets/ gets distracted when it's time to eat or the food is not ready at a decent time. Medication in found in the bottom of an empty boost bootle, and you can't find a caregiver to ask what it is. a Facility who totally disregard the family's wishes. Staff never interacts with the residents unless you loose your mind because they won't do what they said they would. You have to constantly ask the staff to do things like do their Job and assist residents. You have seen your loved one on the floor more than once and can't get any one to answer the phone, and you have cameras in the room and go back and see they have been on the floor for hours. Then this just might be the facility for you. And when you ask them to do their JOB they label your love one as a flight risk with out being able to prove their claim. And when you say your moving them they retaliate and make it living HELL for your loved the last month they are there. DO NOT WASTE your time or money on this place!!

Atria Cinco Ranch was very inviting. They were very informative and very friendly. I just saw their one-bedroom, and it was very clean and spacious. They also had all sorts of activities planned on their huge calendar. They had a dining room, a fitness room, a garden, and a courtyard. The facility was well-maintained, and everybody was very nice. Based on when we walked through the building, the food was not really good. Their menu was very detailed. The person who toured us said that the food is made from scratch, and based on COVID, they are getting their food delivered on each floor. One floor would be eating in the dining, while all the other floors would be eating in their rooms through their room service, and they rotate each floor, each day.

Atria Cinco Ranch was very nice, and they called back to check on me. My husband and I used to live in Cinco Ranch, so that was one of the reasons I liked the area. It was close to the church I used to attend and that was a big plus, too. It's a very nice and clean place. I liked the fact that they had quite a few activities. I'm looking at the brochure and they had a featured event. There was a Casino Royale part, which they said was like Bingo travelling, they had Oktoberfest party going on, and they had a Christmas tree decorating coming up later on. It was nice, and I appreciate the fact that they were having get-togethers, activities, and things. They were very friendly and knew what they were talking about. They had a lady executive director, and she's sent a letter that was very sweet and very touching. They had a printed literature that was very informative and I felt like it helped out a lot because obviously I brought it home and kept it in my folder of places I've been able to visit, so that when I can go out again, I'll be able to remember the ones I was at. It's probably September or so since I've been there, and I was able to go in. I remember it was easy to navigate, and they were very good.

I went to Atria Cinco Ranch. They were able to show me a room, we walked through the buildings, it was well kept, there were people in the common areas. We could speak to them, they spoke to us, and could just ask them how well they liked the place, and they seemed to be fairly happy. The staff seemed to be pretty knowledgeable of what was going on, and what their role was.

Oak Park Retirement Resort was the best of the three places I saw. The director was very good. Everybody was very helpful. They had a large theater that seated 150 people and a nice equipment room, and I met the instructor. It was a lot larger on the inside than I thought. The apartment was really nice, and the food was very good. I like that they had freedom dining there, and you can eat anytime you want. The staff was excellent. It didn't have much of a courtyard, but the building was very nice.
