Brookdale Shadowlake (formerly known as Brookdale Place Shadowlake), located in Houston, is a cozy and comfortable senior community where we provide superlative care, a congenial and friendly environment, and an opportunity for residents to experience a rich and rewarding life. At our community we offer a range of senior care services tailored to the individual needs of our assisted living and Alzheimer's or dementia care residents.

At Brookdale Shadowlake, we offer an intimate and comfortable living environment. Residents select from a range of apartment styles in semi-private, shared private, studio, and studio deluxe style floor plans. Our spacious apartments include plush carpeting, roomy closets, private baths, microwaves, access to free washers and dryers, and refrigerators are included in select units.We encourage residents to bring a small, beloved pet.
Residents feel at home when they're chatting over coffee in our community lounge, playing cards in game room, or enjoying movie night together in the media room. We offer many lovely outdoor areas and landscaped gardens where residents can stroll or quietly relax.
Available Services
We partner with individual residents to create a personalized plan, tailored for their specific care needs. Our professional staff is available 24/7 to assist residents with the activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility. Managing the challenges associated with memory loss can sometimes be difficult, and our staff is carefully selected and trained. We provide a gentle structure to each day that targets specific needs of those with Alzheimer's and various types and levels of dementia.
We offer an exciting menu of expertly prepared meals served in our elegant community dining room, and a well-rounded calendar of activities including group excursions and social events.

Brookdale Shadowlake was excellent and the people were very helpful. The rooms were a nice size, the accommodations were excellent, and the gathering places were a good size. The amenities were really nice and they were willing to work with us on the finances. It was the best at that time that we had seen as far as the help and the services. They offer three meals a day and two snacks. The facility was clean, very accessible, and had good parking. They also have services to doctors' offices and back, and they take you out to other places and to the grocery store.
