My sister in law loves the food, the employees are tenured and friendly - best rates in town

Heritage Place Assisted Living was really good, and it was just almost identical to where mom currently is. It was very clean. The lady who took us on a tour was very friendly and really helpful. At that time we were still thinking of putting her in a studio apartment. They showed us where they have the activity room, and they have games, puzzles, and cards.

We chose Mustang Creek Estates - Burleson for my mom because of the people, the price, and it being family oriented. They take the residents to different places, they have a church that comes in, and there's a lot of things they do. They serve three meals a day. They have a van for doctors' appointments. They do housekeeping, they help her wash her clothes, and they do spring cleaning once a week. The residents sit out and mingle with each other, they talk, and they get to socialize. They're just not stuck in somewhere. She is in the memory care department. The staff is very helpful and very nice. As far as other facilities that I've looked at, this has been the best as far as being inclusive. A lot of the places that I did check into, you had to pay for every little thing. Here, they will give her her medication and they make sure your medication is ready for you.

We didn't like Mustang Creek Estates. There are four or five residents per building. They have their own cook and their own caregivers in each building. Each section was nice. Everything was clean. However, nothing was fenced in. If residents have any kind of problem, there isn't any fencing to keep them contained there or anybody from coming in. It's not a safe environment to me.

My friend moved into Heritage Place for a little over a month now. There's no medical facility there, and most of the people are in their 70s and 80s. They have three meals a day, activities, and plenty of parking spaces. They have nice apartments, he has a nice living area with a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom; it's and well-appointed. People are friendly, and everything is perfect for my friend. It was the best-priced of others in the area.

I liked Heritage Place. The halls were short on either side of the elevator, which I appreciate. The apartments looked nice. We didn't go into the dining area. We just kind of looked in it through the door and it looked nice. I liked what I saw. The biggest draw was it's the closest one to where my friends live and my church. I didn't see anything that I was really against when I visited. The staff member was very gracious. She was sorry that she wasn't expecting me. My daughter was with me, and she showed us one- and two-bedroom apartments, and if I can afford it, I want a two-bedroom. She's very good about explaining everything to us. They had a place outside where smokers can gather.

Heritage Place is very nice and very clean. It is a little difficult to get to in terms of its location. The people are nice. Except for the telephone and cables, they would pay for everything else. The pricing seems high, but I don't think it is when you take everything into account.

My visit at Heritage Place was very good. The lady that I talked to was very nice. It was very clean and looked very good; it was great. They were having 3 meals a day and changing linens and washing once a week, which was very nice. They were in the process of updating and restoring a lot of things, so it looked very nice. One of the things I said was that I really do not want to give up my refrigerator, and she told me that they can work around that; that was nice. All of the amenities like the meals and people to check up on you 24 hours a day were kind of comforting that you can just call on somebody to help you if you needed to. I was very pleased with it. The people were nice, and it was very appealing. My biggest thing was that I wished the apartments were larger. They have a lot of other things that other places don’t have.
