We (my siblings, mother and I) chose Santa Fe Trails over several other facilities for our mother two years ago, for several reasons. Initial conversations with the Director were very helpful and encouraging, answering all our questions and giving us things to think about. After a complimentary lunch and tour, we all were impressed with the interior of the building, with its warm and welcoming feel of home right away. Our mother has been a resident over two years now, and our family appreciates the care and attention she receives from the staff members. The employees make a valiant effort to make life safe, meaningful and pleasant for all the residents at Santa Fe Trails. Overall, Santa Fe is a lovely, comfortable, clean, inspirational, fun, creative and safe place for our mother, and we highly recommend to others. It has been a joy to make new friends with residents and their families.

The decorations and the atmosphere at Santa Fe Trails made you want to dress up all the time rather than just be casual because everything was polished. It was very clean and made you feel like you need to dress up all the time. They gave us a free meal and a tour. I took my dad there. He liked the food, but he wasn't comfortable.

Santa Fe Trails was really nice. We were greeted by the nicest people and escorted around the different areas. The place was clean, neat, and orderly. The doors of the apartments were decorated personally by the residents, and I thought that was unique. They had a game room, access to computers, network, and TV. They also had outings. The residents in the assisted living were nice and clean, didn't smell, and didn't look dirty. The parking was sufficient. The grounds looked good, and they had a nice interior courtyard. The staff was nice and polite. They were all smiles, cheerful, and seemed to enjoy their work. We had lunch, but since I'm not on a diet, I think the food was a little bland.

This facility is settled in a nice little neighborhood with a lot of space around the outside. The grounds are well manicured and very welcoming with a beautiful courtyard in the back of the grounds. They have two types of rooms residents can choose from depending on their need of space. Both types are very nice and spacious. The dining room is both comfortable and well lit, serving three meals a day that can be individualized for special dietary needs. If a resident isn't up to dining in the dining room then meals can be delivered to their rooms. Each room has a small kitchenette with a sink, mini refrigerator and microwave so that food items can be reheated or saved. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This facility is also pet friendly for those who have pets. They provide many types of activities and recreation for the residents to enjoy. There is also an outdoor gardening area and this facility also offers occasional outings for the residents.
