My husband is here The layout is atrocious and very convoluted. There's a lot of walking involved, which I don't like. Other than that, it's great. They have a beautiful courtyard that's fully enclosed and nobody can get out. Their food seems very good. It's a very calming place and homey. I like the whole place. They do crafts and they have better one-on-one contact with the employees who strike me as interested and caring. It has the better feel than a lot of places do. He eats better there than he did at the other places. It's two stories and had an elevator.
It was very good. It gave me a very homey feeling. The staff members were very nice. They showed me around the whole place. The courtyard and the rooms were very nice. They are fixing to do some remodeling and updating, so it will be a lot nicer. The place itself was nice, but they plan on updating the colors and making things lighter and brighter. I only saw the dining and the respite room, but they were a five.
The room that we saw was on the small side and didn't have a kitchenette. The amenities seemed to be pretty nice. The dining area and the outdoor courtyard were nice. They seemed to have the level of activities consistent with the other places we saw. They had a small bus that could take the residents out to do shopping.
The staff is extremely caring and pro-patient. My father is in the early stages of dementia and they're very attentive to his cares, and if he needs anything, they get on it. They will call me and take care of what needs to be done. It's convenient since it's near the interstate and main thoroughfares. It's very clean and there's not smell in this place. Their housekeeping staff is always working, and everybody always has a smile on their face. They have a very nice courtyard, a library, and a family room. I'm very pleased. I selected a small studio apartment for my dad which is basically one room and a bathroom. It has a beautiful view out the window with trees and greenways. It has a private bath, a little refrigerator, and we hooked up cable for him. My dad said the food tastes and looks good. I have recommended them to other people.
