Here at Brookdale Central (formerly Sterling House of Central), assisted living doesn't mean giving up the activities that make life exciting. Located in the northwest corner of South Carolina, a half-hour drive from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, our wonderful senior community specializes in personalized assisted living options. We're conveniently close to houses of worship, shopping, a post office and several family-style restaurants - and our transportation services make getting around even easier.

Our single-story building provides many comfortable community areas for relaxing or socializing. Residents meet for classic movie night around the TV, enjoy a riveting mystery in the library or get their hair done in our on-site beauty/barber shop. Our indoor sun room is the perfect spot for appreciating the natural beauty this region has to offer all year round.
Brookdale Central was thoughtfully designed to help individuals using wheelchairs and other assistive devices to navigate easily. Residents select from several floor plans for studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Residences are comfortable and bright, and feature kitchenettes, cozy carpeting and private baths. We warmly welcome small pets in our friendly community as well.
Available Services
We customize our services for the individual, so residents receive the right amount of care that supports their independence and abilities.
Professional staff are available for assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication reminders, mobility and escort needs. Nursing staff are on call 24/7 to respond to the medical needs of our residents.
