My parents are in Sunrise of Lower Makefield. Everybody there was very informative. The only issue I had was when I made the initial arrangements I did not know there was an admission fee on top of pre-paying the monthly fee. They did not tell me that, and when I brought it up to the administrator, she said she would look at that, but I haven't heard anything, and I don't do the bills or anything, so I don't know if they made any adjustments. The place is beautiful, it's so open, but it's high priced too. My mom's room was really cute, it was clean, the staff was very accommodating, my mom liked some of them, and they were friendly. It was a two-story building, but they have an elevator. It really is like a palace when you go in, and it's got that big foyer with steps going up. The dining room was bigger, with fresh flowers on the table, and assigned places. I would call it a vacation if I was there. The people on the floor do everything, they were excellent, but for administration and communication, I might hang back and rate them a four. The food was excellent. I had several meals when I was down there with mom, and she loved the bingo, going out for lunch, the puzzles, singalongs, parties, and going to the beach.

My mother was at Sunrise of Lower Makefield. It's nice but expensive for what you get. The staff was good. The food was not so good. They had everything, including bingo. The facility was beautiful.
Go a bit further out to explore pricing and amenities.
