I didn't like University Village Retirement Community assisted living at all. It had an odor, the staff seemed distant, the apartments had an odor, and they only had a studio available. It looks wonderful when you tour. It isn't. My family member required hydrocodone regularly for extreme pain. These were not given to him as directed by his doctor. On Fourth of July he called saying he was in horrible pain.
