I am a current client of this providerReview of Visiting Angels - Lorain, OH

My husband's mom is using Visiting Angels and seems to be OK with them. They're helping her get dressed, assisting with personal hygiene, and cooking. They come every day. Someone comes in the morning and somebody comes around dinner time. They've been pretty decent although there has been a time or two when somebody hasn't shown, but overall it's been fairly good.

My daughter and son-in-law moved into Independence Village, and it's close to other family members. They have an in-house maintenance guy that's in charge of mechanical and electrical problems in the apartment, he also sets up the cable for the cable TVs. They provide two meals a day, so you're on your own for lunch. They have exercise area, a library, a beauty shop, a self-serve laundry, and they do activities also.

We had Home Instead Senior Care for my grandmother for a little over a month. The first person didn't do so well, and the person they sent out next was really good. The caregiver is pretty quiet and doesn’t talk very much, but she can get my grandmother in the shower right away. They take the bill straight out of the account, which is pretty convenient. They offer quite a bit, and they're able to find someone right away.

My folks moved into Independence Village. It was very nice, a lot of people were smiling, and they were very friendly. The facility is very accommodating and everything seemed like a good fit. They have everything they could possibly need and it was top notch. The residents I talked to were very happy and they said they would have moved sooner if they'd known it would be good for them.
