The Ganzhorn Suites of Avon offers specialized assisted living memory care. We are located on the west side of Cleveland on the same campus as the Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital. This location enables us to set new standards for Alzheimer's and dementia care in the Cleveland, Ohio area and beyond. 

We offer four households, which surround a beautiful courtyard, allowing our residents to be safe and secure while feeling independent.

Robust life-enrichment programming developed specifically for individuals with memory loss makes life more enjoyable and meaningful for residents
Therapy and end-of-life care provided through local home care and hospice partnerships


Our care model is what sets The Ganzhorn Suites apart from other assisted living centers. To decrease the risk of hospitalization, our care model is ideally structured to manage medical conditions and provide rehabilitation services. Aspects of our care services that set us apart include:

We focus on health and purposeful living through clinical services and enhanced enrichment programs. Our care model is constantly evolving to reflect current best practices for Alzheimer's and dementia.

Our highly qualified, experienced team members have specialized dementia training and certification. In addition to becoming Certified Dementia Practitioners, our caregivers pursue opportunities to learn more about dementia care with lectures from experts such as Teepa Snow and renowned Ohio State University Neurologist and Ganzhorn Suites of Powell Medical Director, Dr. Douglas Scharre.

We offer exceptional staffing levels with nurses on site at our memory care center 24 hours a day. Our staff-to-resident ratio is nearly twice what you'll find at typical assisted living centers. In fact, it's one of the highest you will see at any memory care facility.
