Overview of North Dakota Memory Care
North Dakota memory care communities are best equipped for dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-afflicting illnesses. The North Dakota Department of Human Services offers free services to those caring for adults age 60 and over including respite care, counseling, support groups and caregiver training. In addition, the state also operates a Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program that helps address and resolve concerns with assisted living communities, including those specializing in memory care accommodations and services.
