Holiday Bear Canyon Estates

Bear Canyon Estates' rooms were a nice size and had balconies. Every floor plan was different. They had nice grounds and were in a nice location. It was a really nice facility. They had activities and a lot of outings. The food was very good.

We visited Bear Canyon Estates. The apartments were nice, but what we saw was a little small compared to what we're coming from. We got a tour of the whole place and we saw the library and the dining room. It was a really nice place, but I didn't see too many of the residents around. It was very clean. They just didn't seem to have quite as much available for the people there.

My sister likes the layout of Bear Canyon Estates. She has a very nice two-bedroom, corner room and a big patio deck. The food is included in the cost. She's very happy there. I've eaten there a number of times. For the first months she's there, she can have guests free of charge. They offered her a very good deal that she could not refuse.

Bear Canyon Estates was very upbeat, friendly, and clean -- it was like being on a cruise ship. They have a computer room with internet access that the residents can use. We tried the food and it was excellent. The menu was well-balanced with protein and vegetables, and the dessert was good. They have shopping trips twice a month and they have the usual activities like Bingo. They were very capable, caring, and available.

My mother is in Bear Canyon Estates, and it has been very good. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, and they keep it up wonderfully. The people are extremely nice and helpful. It's good all the way around. They have bingo, ice cream day, and donut day, and they have people come in to help them with shopping and people to help them make jewelry and flower arrangements. They keep them busy. You can have caretakers come in.

Bear Canyon Estates was very impressive and was very clean. The staff member during the visit was fantastic. He did a good job of answering our questions and telling us if they didn't offer something we wanted. He was very good at communicating that. The dining area was really good, and I liked how very organized and quick they served the food.

My mother moved into Bear Canyon Estates. It's good. The staff is good, but the dining area is good and bad. Some days she likes it and some days she doesn't. My regret is that it doesn't have more choices. There's not a lot of variety to choose from. Their facilities are well-presented. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. They've kept their apartments in good condition. They have activities, bingo, and so on. They offer leaving the community, although my mom hasn't done anything off-site with them.

Bear Canyon Estates seems pretty much like most of the places I have seen. They didn't seem very eager to take residents from other communities, and that would be a problem in my case. They have amenities, but no pool, and nothing stands out compared with other communities.

The lunch we had at Bear Canyon Estates was adequate. A very nice gentleman showed us around. The studio was the only empty unit they had, but they said they had casitas that are more independent. They showed us a library and a very small workout area.
