I wouldn't put anybody in Park Place Assisted Living. It's very worn down. There was duct tape holding the carpet together in spots. I was really disappointed that I was even sent there and offered that as a referral. The rooms were very plain. There were a lot of people with dementia there. The staff was very friendly. It looked like it was built back in the 1960s or 1970s and hadn't been updated.
Park Place Assisted Living and the tour were very nice. The price was a little on the high side, but they had very nice accommodations and nice views. I was looking at a nice and large studio. The staff member who gave me the tour was very informative and answered all my questions.
Everybody at Park Place Assisted Living was really nice. Everybody treated us wonderfully. It had quite a few vacancies. They were very generous when talking with us, but it didn't fit my dad's needs. It was a pretty small place and did not have as many activities as the other places.
Park Place was great. I was interested in the studio, which was very nice. It was a very good experience. I was completely happy with it. If I have my choice, I would move my mother in there, or if at some point she is ready to move in and needs more assistance, that's the place that I'm going to recommend she go.
