Senior Care of Canton's small and simple environment offers residents freedom from the confusion, over-stimuli or even neglect often experienced in large "memory care" units or nursing homes. We offer a smaller, luxury home environment where residents enjoy the comfort and support of a constant caregiver.

Unlike most assisted living facilities, Senior Care of Canton specializes in meeting the needs of those delicate elderly with more extensive physical needs. Residents have a ratio of 2:1 care and are always within a few feet of their caregiver, not down a long hallway. If needed, residents are spoon-fed, slowly and patiently, bed or shower bathed, and transferred gently from bed to chair. Any necessary equipment is brought in and is typically covered by Medicare. If a resident qualifies for physical, speech and occupational therapy, these services will also be provided in the home. Care plans also are adjusted to meet the changing needs of the resident.
