Staff seemed inconvenienced and rude to visitors. One staff member “vented” outside to a licensed therapist there to provide services for my husband. Loud music one Sunday to the point where the caregiver on duty could not hear the doorbell. This is an Alzheimer’s/Dementia licensed home. Their license should be pulled for sheer disregard and unprofessional conduct.

My mother moved to Manor Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a couple of weeks after surgery. We had a bad experience there. She called and asked the sheriff to take her out of there at 12:00 at night, because she didn't want to be there anymore. So the police came, talked to the staff then they left. Then she called 911 again, then the sheriff came and transferred her to the ER at the hospital. I read some of the reviews, and it was pretty much the same as what happened to me. The staff wasn't all that nice. My mom had a semi-private room and shares the bathroom. The room was very dull and depressed-looking, and kind of dark. It had a curtain, a bed, and it wasn't a complete bathroom, like a toilet and a sink. Outside, the hallway was very narrow. When you get off the elevator and walk down the corridor, it was kind of dark looking. In the nurse's station the staff were talking to each other, some were talking and some were not. The physical therapy according to my mom was okay; not that great. Personally, I think it needs to be shut down and remodelled. The cost was covered by my mother's insurance.
Go a bit further out to explore pricing and amenities.
