The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. My father's room is very nice. There are multiple food selections, which seem acceptable. They have multiple activities each day from exercise to social groups to reading groups to musical entertainment. There's usually something scheduled every couple of hours.

We visited and it was a very nice and beautiful community. We could see that there are lots of activities for the residents. We had a meal there and it was very good. One of the activities that they have is what they call shared reading, which is about how to deal with stress in the body. There was a group of about 12 people gathered around, and each person had the opportunity to read a couple of paragraphs on the shared article. After reading the article, they talked about it. The staff that I met there was very friendly.

It was excellent but the location leaves a lot to be desired. The problem is that it is too far out of town, and there's nothing around it. The staff members were outstanding, though. They followed up and called me several times. They were very helpful. The rooms were very nice. They had lots of activities going on, but not things that my sister would be interested in.

It was my second choice, but it was farther from my sister. It was very nice, beautifully decorated, and clean. The staff seemed nice and good.

I love them. It was like a beautiful Ritz-Carlton. It was wonderful, but my mother-in-law wanted a place that was a little low key. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful place. The rooms were beautiful, and the dining area was fantastic. The staff was wonderful, too. We went there during a horrible storm, even though it was dark and dreary, the place was light and airy.
