We were supposed to go here, but the room they offered didn't have any sunshine. The place is a bit confusing, but the food is very good. They also have covered parking and basement storage, which we don't have at our current community. The space was OK, but the color scheme wasn't very good. It's dark and they re-carpeted it in dark brown so it looks gloomy.
It is very nice and very clean. I'm very pleased with it. My mom lives by herself there. Her room is like a studio apartment with a bedroom and a living room all in one and a small kitchen and bathroom. The food is excellent. They have Scrabble and crafts.
Thanks for the kind words, Lenore! We are happy to hear your mom has made Rancho Vista her home.
Rancho Vista impressed me. It is a good community, wide open, and new. I met some of the caregivers and nursing staff who seemed great. The community is fine. The rooms are spread far apart, and from what I remembered, there isn't a bathroom within the rooms there. They’re too far apart for someone from assisted living to go visit. It’s beautiful, but if you’re in your 90s, it is not really appropriate for someone to walk around. It is really hilly, there are lots of pathways, and they have stairs. It is not conducive for my parents. The staff member was great, though. She was very efficient and took her time.
Rancho Vista feels very comfortable. This facility has a homey vibe that makes it feel very relaxing and peaceful. The facility is very clean as a whole and looks relatively modern and updated. Rancho Vista has excellent outdoor curb appeal as there’s plenty of nice plants and flowers to look at. Though there doesn’t seem to be an abundance of outdoor sitting areas, there are still plenty of nice places to sit and relax after a long day.
