Available Services
All staff members at Belmont Village of San Jose undergo careful screening and complete a minimum of 40 hours of specialized training. This is to ensure that our residents receive the best, most attentive care possible. A licensed nurse is on site 24/7 to oversee care plans and administer medications, while our Personal Assistance Liaisons (PALs) provide one-on-one personal care.
To further enhance life at our community, we provide weekly housekeeping, laundry services, daily wellness checks, scheduled transportation, on-site beauty and salon services, and hot meals. Over 24 freshly prepared menu selections are served daily in Josephine's Kitchen, our community dining room, with snacks and beverages available between meals in our bistro.

- Special Comment: At our community, almost all of our residents age in place through end of life including hospice. They stay in the same apartment they chose when they moved into Belmont Village. Because of our Circle of Friends program, residents with memory issues may be able to live unsecured, with daily programming just for them. This is particularly meaningful with couples where one partner needs more support than the other.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My dad is at Belmont in San Jose. The food is awesome. The care and the activities are really organized. It is an amazing place and expensive, but I feel like in terms of what's going on over there, it is well worth it. They are just amazing. The difference between the menu at Belmont Village and the menu at the other community is it's far more superior. The place is very clean and generally organized. The space itself and dining room are very nice. They have arts and exercises. They encourage my dad to join, and he participates. He wasn't participating at all in the independent living, but here he does a lot more activities. The great thing about the Belmont is that their staff are hosting a lot of the games, so it is not just the people getting together. Having the staff organize and be there to facilitate makes a huge difference. From what I could see, it is a very professional organization.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I'm quite satisfied here in Belmont Village. Our only problem right now is that we have to stay in our rooms because some people have the flu. The staff members are very helpful and do a good job. They have activities to keep us active. I can go out to inspect the neighborhood, and my wife has Alzheimer's and participates in some of the games. If you want to participate, you can, or don't. We have a two-bedroom apartment that's quite roomy and very comfortable. The price is a little high.

I visited this facility
Belmont Village San Jose was very nice but expensive. The staff members were very lovely and very easy to talk to. The activities were excellent. They had exercise, crafts, and trips. Cleanliness and maintenance were excellent, but it was on a busy street. Getting in and out was difficult, although they had valet parking.

I visited this facility
Belmont Village San Jose is senior assisted living. The rooms were OK. However, I was not pleased when I walked into the lobby. The person that was greeting us was at this small desk and behind her were these two filing cabinets, the wide kind; they sounded so cheap and they were jiggling. It made me wonder what was the rest of this place was like quality wise. Also, it was very expensive. They did have a nice menu. They were lots of activities going on.
