Regency of Evergreen Valley is nice, and everybody is nice to my mother. The place is very clean, and the staff is good and attentive to everybody. They have chair exercises in the morning before they eat breakfast, TV, and balloon volleyball game and other little games. Her room is very nice; it's like a T with one bedroom to each side when you walk in, and I like that she doesn't have to share the bathroom with another apartment. They have a nice area outside with a picnic table so she can sit outside and not have to be enclosed and watch the birds and the waterfall, it will help her not be agitated. An employee can let her out of the security lock using a code whenever she wants to go outside.

I liked that the people at Regency of Evergreen Valley all seemed to be very happy. They had very good extracurricular activities, which was one of my primary concerns, because my mom is 99 but still very sharp and makes homemade bread every week. They had some really good programs there. The place was really nice. They had fresh cut flowers in the lobby. The dining room was clean. I got there just when lunch was over and everybody was sitting around chatting, laughing, and having a good time. It was like they really loved it there. I really liked the place. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. Everybody knows all the nurses' names. Everybody was very familiar and I liked that.

The first problem I had with Regency of Evergreen Valley was the person I was supposed to meet with wasn't available, so I had somebody else showing me around. She was very thorough, and I was impressed with the place. They showed me a studio. It wasn't spacious, but it was fine. They were serving three meals a day. The staff seemed to be very busy and attentive.

Regency of Evergreen Valley was wonderful. My mother just wasn't happy there, so I moved her closer to me. They've been in business for 20 years, and the people there are still there. They like working there. If it were closer to me, I would be very happy with them. She had to eat in the dining room for memory care. What I didn't like was they wouldn't let her walk or be outside. She loves to walk, but they didn't even want her to be outside in the tiny little area that they have for memory care people. She was just out there circling the place like a caged animal. I complained and the nurse came in a half hour early and took her for a walk around the building and that was very nice of her. They have assisted living and it's a really good program. They also have transition, so that if you're not quite ready for memory care, you can still learn things and you have a person that will take you out of your room. It's very good care. I would rate them highly. Even when you are just looking and checking them out, they invite you for lunch. It's all free and the food is good. They know what they're doing. The facility was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. I never ate in the dementia care unit, but I ate in the assisted living and I liked it. It's a good value.

Regency at Evergreen Valley was very nice. We were looking for a 2-bedroom and they had a couple of them. The rooms were very small, and the community was smaller than some of the others. The staff was very nice. They had adequate amenities for their residents, like recreation and excursions.

Regency of Evergreen Valley was a very nice facility. They have good amenities, and I liked those that were available. They had a dining room. The staff was very friendly, and the price was moderate.
