Located in suburban Long Beach close to the 405 & 710 freeways, Vista Del Mar Senior Living offers a park like setting with large room and gorgeous common areas. Our resident rooms some of the largest in Southern California ranging between 350 square feet to 600 square feet.
Our well trained staff accommodate a verity of care needs ranging from medication management to memory care.
We provide a jammed packed activities calendar both onsite and through in the community. We own our own limousine and bus which can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters for outings and doctor's appointments.

I visited this facility
Vista Del Mar was very nice. The people were very courteous, very responsive, and on time, and the residents seemed happy. The first floor and the third floor were clean and spacious. They had a whole calendar of activities. They go to church on Sundays and have special night outings. They served three meals a day. The staff was very friendly and very attentive to my mother-in-law.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
We chose Vista Del Mar Senior Living for my mother-in-law because it is not far from our house and it is convenient. We like the overall feel of the community. They have a nice courtyard in the center. They have lot of activity for their residents. They're very attentive to my mother-in-law.

I visited this facility
My first impression of Vista Del Mar was that it's not the place for my friend to be. There are too many people in the full stage of dementia going around in wheelchairs and not knowing what's happening. He's not at that stage yet. But the general appearance was nice and the place was clean, I didn't see anything wrong with it. The person who assisted me was very helpful and gave us a very nice tour. She also answered most of our questions. The dining area also looked nice, and another one of their amenities is an area where you could use the computers.

The staff at Vista Del Mar Senior Living was nice, but the rooms were kind of small. The place was clean, nice, and looked friendly.

I visited this facility
Vista Del Mar is probably okay, but not for my mother. It's on a hill and had a very steep entrance. I did not have a lot of interaction with the staff. It just wasn't a good fit.

I visited this facility
Vista Del Mar Senior Living was really nice, and I liked how they were well-staffed. We would have wanted a 1-bedroom, but they didn’t have any available. Everything was wonderful and nice, and the studios looked like hotel rooms. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Vista Del Mar is one of the cleaner places we looked at. We like the staff, the location, and the way the facility is managed. They have a lot of activities, but he has not taken part in most of it yet except for the service to take them out shopping. The dining area is nice. The food is very well prepared, and he hasn't had any complaints about it.
