Sunrise of Hermosa Beach is a very nice facility. The grounds are very clean and nice, and the staff is extremely nice. They always call me and my mother by our names. She's well taken care of there and the food is good. They really keep the residents very active and there are always activities going on. My mother is in the memory care unit, which is a smaller section. The residents have their own balcony, dining room, kitchen, and living room. When I go to visit, I can take my mother anywhere on the premises. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with a little bit of an ocean view and there are lots of different sitting areas. It looks like a fancy hotel.

Sunrise of Hermosa Beach is a nice place and it's where my mom is living. My mom started out with a private room, which is nice and clean, before she moved to a shared room to save money, which is also fine. My mom is at the Friday Happy Hour right now, with music and one drink. She's doing well. The staff seems to be pretty engaged and attentive to the residents' needs, and I have no complaints about them. They have a reading room and adequate amenities.

Sunrise of Hermosa Beach has lovely people and the place is pretty. My husband uses a power wheelchair and they were willing to accept him. I did see a couple of rooms and the staff even showed me the room that might be his, and it was great. I walked downstairs and upstairs, and everything was nice. I saw the dining room and it really was very nice. I saw a few of the workers on the second floor in the office doing business. I met the one that took me around and someone that works downstairs and they were all very lovely. I didn't get to see the meal, but I saw the residents and everybody looked real happy and cordial. They had very pleasant faces. If I ate there, I would like it too. Just by looking at everyone, I would assume everything was done very nice.
