I visited this facility
Bella Vista was a very nice facility. It's just not the right facility for my dad because he's in a wheelchair and the units that they had available were on the second floor quite a distance from the dining area. It would have been a little hard for him to be able to make that work, and they don't take Medicaid or Medicare. I saw a one-bedroom with a kitchen and it was very nice. They had quite a few amenities. The staff was super. What we saw was excellent. It was a very good visit.

I visited this facility
Island Shores was a very nice place. It was close to downtown, which is important to me. I like to exercise at the Y and it's about a half a block away. Everybody seemed very friendly. The dining area was cozy. The person who accommodated me during the tour was great.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
We chose Bella Vista because they offered a decent price for the level of care that my mother needed. It wasn't too outrageous. It seems like a nice place and she's happy there. The rooms are nice. The CNAs, the nurses, and everyone working there all seem very attentive and very nice. They have activities, she just doesn't participate in any. She is on the CBRF floor. They have a salon and a chapel.

I visited this facility
The atmosphere at Island Shores was great for old people like me. It's very good. It had several stories and you'll use an elevator to get to any of them, which is very convenient. They serve breakfast and lunch. They have an on-board medical facility and several social activities like playing cards, game boards, and things of that nature. We spoke to the manager, and I found the staff to be very friendly and excellent.

My dad only stayed at Bella Vista for five days. It's a very nice facility and I'd recommend it. It was a good facility. The people are very friendly, the accommodations are very nice, and all amenities are very good.

I visited this facility
Island Shores was very nice. The only thing that we didn't like about it was that it was in Neenah and we were looking for something in Appleton. However, they did have pretty much all the amenities and it was very clean. The unit was very roomy. They also had a nice breakfast facility and they serve rolls and coffee in the morning. They provide 3 meals a day.
