I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I visited here for years so saw changes. Large staff turnover including new directors annually. 5 in 5 years. I was not comfortable with this but my parent was too old to move. When I visited I saw bingo which residents seemed to enjoy. I do know there were some crafts activities and when possible musicians were brought in. Most everyone seemed to stay in their rooms. All I met really liked the food and the cook. It is difficult choosing the right place as there is so much to consider. I suggest you go at lunch to try to get a feel for the residents and see if your loved one would fit in, rather than try to compare everything online.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother moved into Robin Way and it's excellent. Her apartment has been kept clean, and they even rearranged the furniture to suit her needs. They're very attentive, kind, the care has been consistent, and they seem to go above and beyond to make her happy. They've been excellent, especially with COVID. They've been accommodating, flexible, and informative with what they're doing, like their preventive measures to keep all the residents safe. They offer exercises, bingo, and different activities. She likes the food, and she's happy there.

I visited this facility

Robin Way would've been my choice for my husband. It felt safe and very accommodating. I liked that the room had a lot of storage space in it. The staff was accommodating and nice. They had a nice eating setup because you get more choices of what to eat. The cost was very high though.

I visited this facility

Robin Way had a reception desk area and a dining area which looked nice. They have a second floor with a smaller dining area and a big living area. There were also a couple of activity rooms. The staff member who gave me the tour did a great job. We liked it there. The place was clean and homey. We saw a lot of the residents out interacting and they all seemed to be active.

We really liked Kenosha Senior Living. It was inviting, the staff was interacting with the residents, and the residents were out and active. The staff member who took us on the tour was very helpful, answered all our questions, was accommodating, and informative. They do daily activities like exercises, trivia, and religious services. The dining area was nice and the food was good. The place is very clean and all on one floor. There's some walking involved, but everything seemed close by inside the facility.

I Am/Was A Resident Of This Facility

I did not rate the food, because I'm an independent living tenant, so have not had any meals, however, the aromas coming from the dining room are very tempting! I love this place. It gives me what I need for now and for what I will need in the future. The apartments are very well designed and well soundproofed. I never hear any noises from my neighbors. I also appreciate the proximity to a huge supermarket which is within easy walking distance. And, as a pet owner, I was delighted to find that there's a vet right across the street. I'm also impressed with the quality of the staff. I've found them to be friendly, very helpful and willing to go out of the way. The quality of this residence is that of a much more expensive place to live. Can't say enough good things!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My parents are in assisted living at Casa del Mare. The people are very pleasant and my parents get plenty of food to eat. They seem to be well taken care of, but we're having some issues with medications right now. I don't think it's a major issue, just communication issues with the doctor and everybody. They have lots of activities and they're constantly trying to come and pick up my parents and bring them to activities. They have plenty to offer the residents, like Bingo, birthday parties, and Happy Hour. The dining area is very nice and my parents like the food. The dining staff is wonderful, pleasant, and accommodating.

I visited this facility

We visited Brookdale Pleasant Prairie. The staff was excellent, very cordial, and showed us the rooms. It was very clean and very nice. I think that would be the one my mother would like the most. They had a one-bedroom wherein the bed had a wall separating it from the living room. It had a stove, but you could have it turned off.
