The Village's staff was quite pleasant and we had a nice meal. The rooms were really clean. The residents we spoke with were happy being there.

I have a friend at The Village Senior Living. She was there in her own room for several months after a hospital stay, and then she came home. I went there several times. The security was pretty tight getting in and getting out with the doors locking behind you. It was so secure. We didn't go out in the facility when I visited since she was in a cast and recuperating from something. It had a lot of good parking. Her room was fine and hospital-sized. I wouldn't choose to go there because it's remote from our friends and acquaintances.

Point Defiance Village had wonderful grounds that bordered a beautiful park, which was nice. They didn't have any nursing services, so it's more like senior housing rather than assisted, although you can hire somebody to help. It's not in the middle of the city. Transportation was available.

We like the area, the settings, the landscaping, the people, and the cleanliness of Point Defiance Village. It is a very nice community. The sizes of the rooms are nice, and they have a nice balcony. It has easy access to the cafeteria, and the food is good.
