We visited a friend at Greenspring. We liked it, but we thought for our purposes, it would have been too big. The buildings were well maintained, though, the spaces were very clean, and the staff was friendly. I think it seemed to be a well-run organization, and my friend liked it a lot. It had good security, and it was gated. You have to present proof that you're visiting somebody, so that was good, and parking was easy, too. The building seemed clean, light, and nicely decorated. I had dinner with my friend, and the food was good. The staff was very friendly, very courteous, and respectful, and they interacted nicely with the residents as well.

I'm living in Greenspring. It has been fine. They have a lot of amenities and activities. They have a lot of Bible classes, history classes, hobby classes, and hobby get-togethers. Before COVID, it had been an active community. The food is probably the weakest link. We have two sit-down restaurants and a buffet restaurant, and then we have a snack bar and a lunch place. We get one meal a day.

Sunrise of Springfield was very nice, clean, and homey. The sales marketing person who toured me around was very nice and helpful. They had a lot of activities listed, like reading, exercise, and walks. The rooms we saw were clean and good-sized for one person.

I visited this facilityReview of Greenspring

I visited Greenspring Retirement Community, and of all the ones I visited, I liked them the best. I was extremely impressed with them, their apartment sizes were excellent, and their amenities were over the top. They have so much going on there. They have around five doctors on the premises. The staff was very knowledgeable, warm and inviting, and they know people by name. They do a lot together, and the people are more independent there. I would want to live there.

I really like Sunrise of Springfield. It's very nice and they're very helpful. It's positive and has a lot of activities every day. The special meal I had there was very good. They have a library, and the place is decorated almost like a home. Even though there are hallways, there are bookcases with books, little sofas, and love seats throughout, so it's very comfortable, welcoming, and home-like. My mom is in assisted living.
