We visited a friend at Greenspring. We liked it, but we thought for our purposes, it would have been too big. The buildings were well maintained, though, the spaces were very clean, and the staff was friendly. I think it seemed to be a well-run organization, and my friend liked it a lot. It had good security, and it was gated. You have to present proof that you're visiting somebody, so that was good, and parking was easy, too. The building seemed clean, light, and nicely decorated. I had dinner with my friend, and the food was good. The staff was very friendly, very courteous, and respectful, and they interacted nicely with the residents as well.

I'm living in Greenspring. It has been fine. They have a lot of amenities and activities. They have a lot of Bible classes, history classes, hobby classes, and hobby get-togethers. Before COVID, it had been an active community. The food is probably the weakest link. We have two sit-down restaurants and a buffet restaurant, and then we have a snack bar and a lunch place. We get one meal a day.

Sunrise of Springfield was very nice, clean, and homey. The sales marketing person who toured me around was very nice and helpful. They had a lot of activities listed, like reading, exercise, and walks. The rooms we saw were clean and good-sized for one person.

I visited Greenspring Retirement Community, and of all the ones I visited, I liked them the best. I was extremely impressed with them, their apartment sizes were excellent, and their amenities were over the top. They have so much going on there. They have around five doctors on the premises. The staff was very knowledgeable, warm and inviting, and they know people by name. They do a lot together, and the people are more independent there. I would want to live there.

I really like Sunrise of Springfield. It's very nice and they're very helpful. It's positive and has a lot of activities every day. The special meal I had there was very good. They have a library, and the place is decorated almost like a home. Even though there are hallways, there are bookcases with books, little sofas, and love seats throughout, so it's very comfortable, welcoming, and home-like. My mom is in assisted living.

My mother is in the assisted living of Sunrise of Springfield. It is a very supportive community. The staff members are very caring toward the residents. I think my grandmother is well taken care of there. They make sure to let me know if there are any issues that arise. They are responsive to my requests as well. Unfortunately, my grandmother doesn't really participate in that many activities given her capacity. It doesn't seem that they have been able to find appropriate activities for her current capacity.

I thought that Sunrise of Springfield was clean, neat, and organized. The only thing I did not particularly care for was the layout, because the patients with memory issues were up on the second floor. As a family member, I'm concerned about my family member being evacuated in case there's a disaster. Plus, the memory care patients had no access to outdoor greenery areas other than a patio with potted plants. The rooms were nice, the activities appeared appropriate, and the staff was friendly when interacting with me and the residents while we were doing the tour.

Sunrise had a nice atmosphere. The environment was clean, the staff was professional, and it was a nice location for my father. They have different activities every night, they have a TV room, a gym, a grilling area in the back, a sitting area, and a walking trail. They have a calendar of activities posted for the residents.

Sunrise of Springfield was a lot smaller compared to another place I visited. It needed some renovation because it seemed kind of worn. The staff was friendly. There were residents sitting down watching TV, which seemed nice. The room that I saw was nice enough. There was an outdoor with rocking chairs in the front, but with all the traffic going by, it wasn’t in a nice location.
