Barrington Place Alzheimer’s Special Care Center is part of JEA Senior Living which operates communities from the Great Lakes region to the West Coast. Founded by Jerry Erwin, JEA Senior Living is focused on providing retirement living and assisted living to seniors. Having seen a need for quality memory care following his own mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, he and his extended family opened their first Alzheimer’s Special Care Center and have opened over 50 highly specialized centers since.

We have residents from the their 50's to 102!  The average age would be in the 70's. We have a diverse and active community. We have social events, outings, crafting, music, games and several clubs. We tailor our activities to mee the needs and interest of our residents.

We are close to downtown Ogden, which is full of fun shops and restaurants, several movie theaters & performing theaters. The Layton mall and aquarium are in close proximity, as well as the Hill Air Force Base and Aero-museum. There are several beautiful parks, including the Ogden Nature Center, Treehouse Childrens Museum (to take the grand kids to!) and many more beautiful outdoor spaces. There are local fruit and veggie stands, as well as grocery and coffee shops nearby.

We are tucked off the main road in a country setting, with beautiful mountain views. Our memory care neighborhood is a quaint 16 apartment neighborhood with private apartments and bathrooms for each resident and a secured patio for our residents and families to enjoy.

Lotus Park works great with local physicals, in house physicians, behavioral hospitals, rehab hospitals and any other medical entities that can help and elevate our residents overall well-being.

We offer transportation to and from doctors' appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, We cover the Layton to Ogden area. This is a first come first serve basis. We also make regular trips to Wal-Mart, go out to eat the with Lunch Bunch at least 2 times a week and do other fun outings as well. Such as the aquarium, Hogle Zoo, Hill Air Force Base, library and more!
