Description of The Gables of North Logan Memory Care
Located in a fertile valley between two mountain ranges in North Logan, Utah, the Gables of North Logan offers both assisted living and memory care. Seniors at our community benefit from a wide range of services and support, enabling residents a more homelike living option than a nursing home.
The Gables was founded with the goal of providing the highest quality of care, compassion and comfort for our residents. As a small community with committed staff that takes pride in the atmosphere that we create, we have forged deep and personal relationships with each resident and are able to anticipate and respond to care needs in a way that larger facilities cannot.

The Gables of North Logan welcomes each resident to choose from a selection of studios and one-bedroom apartments. Each home comes standard with a kitchenette, private bathroom and emergency call system for your security.
Each and every day dietitian-approved meals are cooked by our trained culinary staff, meaning that there's no need to slave over a hot stove or worry about kitchen cleanup. We have comfortable and welcoming common areas to enjoy and socialize in, including an entertainment room with surround-sound and a spa room with a jetted bath tub to relax in and soothe aching joints. Our activities program also ensures that there are plenty of social events to keep you busy as well.
Available Services
It's the commitment and compassion to great care that sets us apart at the Gables of North Logan. We have staff available around the clock to respond to resident needs and our nursing support is on call 24/7. When you move in, we will craft a care plan to proactively attend to your needs all while allowing you as much freedom as you desire.
In addition to daily housekeeping and laundry service, you can expect help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and medication assistance. For those that cannot or no longer care to drive, our transportation services will have you on your way to appointments or local outings as you please.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
This is the only bad review I\'ve ever written and it REALLY stresses me out to do so. We tried hard to find what we thought would be the best place for our dad. We thought this was it. It wasn\'t. They can care for a memory care patient with mild dementia/Alzheimer\'s, or someone in a \"slug state\". NOT someone in between. When my dad entered he was healthy, happy, and active. When he left there was a dramatic change after his short 2 and a half weeks there. Helpful info on how to best work with him was not passed on from shift to shift. His room was not kept clean. Even after talking to several levels of staff about this more than once it didn\'t change. I would see the same messes from day to day in his bathroom. The facility lacked simple things- you can\'t expect a dementia patient to use a cheap bathroom scale where you have to tap to zero, then hop on quick? They said he wouldn\'t sleep. The first night when we dropped him off I noticed there was a light out his room window. They said it could be turned off. Great, please do, he\'s used to a dark room with only a night light. Later I spent a night there to figure out why he wasn\'t sleeping. I noticed the lights were on. I asked again. They said that you can\'t turn them off. Why was I told they would be then? No wonder he\'s not sleeping. He\'d wake up and see the bright light through the blinds and think it was morning. I got curtains that day and installed them myself. These are just a FEW of the issues we had in the 3 weeks he was there! Their answer to problems was to medicate. Which led to other issues. Which their answer was to medicate more. It was a downward cycle from the moment he moved in. No wonder I only saw residents that were still very with it or slugs.
