I visited this facilityReview of Apple Village Assisted Living

Apple Village was really nice, I liked it very much, but I can't afford it. They had living plants everywhere, it was sunny and bright, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were nice and decent sized. The only thing I didn't like was that I can't cook in them. They don't have a kitchen, they don't have a stove to cook on or anything. That's one of the main things for me because I like to cook. They have some really good activities. When we were there touring, the people were playing bowling. They were sitting in their chairs and wheelchairs and were having a grand time.

I visited this facilityReview of Pheasant View Assisted Living

Pheasant View didn't seem to have a lot for the residents to do. The rooms were OK, but the dining hall was their only gathering place, which is what I didn't like. All of the activities were done in the dining room. The person who assisted us was very nice, but the place itself was small. They're tucked back in between houses. Their food would not have worked with us. They did have a set menu, but there were lots of things my mom wouldn't eat. There wasn't that much variety
