Description of The Crossings Methodist Retirement Communities
The Crossings is a senior community that provides assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Independent living options are also available. Residents have access to an on-site beauty salon and barbershop, along with a comfortably furnished library and theater. There are also several enriching activities offered each day, including games and crafts. Seniors can visit the community's convenience store and cafe for refreshments anytime, and there's a billiards room for those who enjoy some friendly competition.
Residents can schedule transportation for appointments and errands. The community offers day trips to local attractions, including shops and dining establishments. Nutritious meals are served in the community dining area for a restaurant-style experience. Licensed nurses are available 24 hours a day to attend to residents' care needs and plans are tailored to meet each resident's needs. Spiritual support is available for seniors at The Crossings.

I visited this facility
The Crossings was a complete center which had independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled care. It was new, very attractive, and they were run by the Methodist Community. I tried the food and it was very good. They had off-center bus trips to supermarkets and medical appointments. There were washers and dryers and a full kitchen in the apartment I'm getting, and you can eat three meals a day in the dining area. The staff member was very informative and very welcoming.

The staff is exceptionally rude. Abraham, the director, lacks severely in communication skills. His lack of concern for legitimate complaints and concerns affects patient care. I cannot stress how rude and dismissing the staff is when legitimate concerns are brought to their attention. From the Director all the way down to the receptionist. I found the caregivers to be extremely untrustworthy as well. The Crossings needs better management to address the concerns and behavior of the inept, distrustful, dismissive staff at The Crossings.
