To qualify for OSS, an individual must be a U.S. citizen or qualified alien, a resident in South Carolina, age 65 and older, a resident in an assisted living facility that is enrolled with SCDHHS and must&nbsp;have a monthly income that doesn’t exceed $1,456&nbsp;or $2,000 in resources. Family members, including adult children, are eligible to be paid to take care of their aging loved one as long as they pass the necessary background checks approved by South Carolina.&nbsp; Other services offered&nbsp; by this program include adult day care, home modifications, personal support and medical equipment and supplies.&nbsp; To qualify for the Community Choices waiver, an individual must be:&nbsp; <ul>
